  4. LCO Tomb Raider Movie Landing Page Follow the link to our landing page for Tomb Raider Movie 2018 for new pictures, posters and a new Teaser Video clip. PS: I painstakingly used my Photoshop skills to correct the neck on Alicia Vikander's poster. Whoever did that work for such a high profile picture needs help on human anatomy. I didn't post the original but you'll find giggles and comments about the neck on the web.

Unlocked (2017) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1734493/ A CIA interrogator and inguistic expert uncovers a major terrorist plot in London. Starring The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series Noomi Rapace as Alice Ravine, the main character. I rather enjoyed this. Rapace kicks some major ass in this including several physical fights and gun battles! Director Michael Apted (Nell, Gorillas In The Mist, the World Is Not Enough) and an all star cast of John Malkovich, Michael Douglas, Orlando Bloom, Toni Collette do a good job here: unfortunately, Unlocked was panned by the critics and it didn't do anything at the box office. It would had been nice to see a spin off film franchise series with Alice Ravine [and one with Lorraine Broughton], they would bring a much needed refreshing change to the male dominated spy thrillers genre composed of film franchises such as James Bond, Jason Bourne and Ethan Hunt. 4/5
  6. I looked in on my unexpected guest tonight and the web is still there but I don't see its resident. Where did it go? There are no cracks or crevices or holes in the baseboard and wall the web is built on for the spider to go hide into. I caught a small fly and dropped it onto the next and it struggled and struggled to fly away but the spider didn't come.
  7. Temple of the witch

I'm having the same issue. Purchase the PS4 20 year anniversary version(late 2016) with any or all updates installed. I'm on the top-most floor trying to destroy the witch(Baba Yaga DLC - Wicked Vale). The cauldron's/vat lever is parallel to the floor and won't spring back in it's vertical/upright position in order for me to grab it and open the cauldron. Any help or tips would be most appreciated! Thanks - Jim J

Transformers: The Last Knight (2017) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3371366 Director Michael Bay does it again!! Mark Wahlberg reprises his role as Cade Yeager from Transformers: Age Of Extinction, reuniting with old allies, Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, and bringing new allies and friends, in the continuing battle against Megatron's attempt to destroy Earth and the human race. Exciting, suspenseful, intelligent, witty, humorous, action packed, incredible stunts, amazing special effects, visuals and CGI, Michael Bay shows us once again why he is the best movie director in the world right now. Eat your heart out Christopher Nolan and J. J. Abrams and your narrow minded fanboys, y'all only wish your excuses for what barely passes for movies could be this good, you over-rated hacks and tool losers! There will be a direct sequel to this film set for a 2019 release. Bring it on!! 5/5

Hopscotch (1980) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0080889/ Well, the premise of this movie about the CIA was probably a novelty and little known fact back in 1980. But now everyone knows the CIA is incompetent and guilty of many things which we will not discuss. A clever fun story: you could see Walter Matthau and Glenda Jackson really enjoyed making this film. They were truly into their on screen personas. 4.5/5 p.s. when did hotels started using key cards to open rooms? There is a scene in here at the Hilton London where the CIA agents were staying, and they used key cards to open the doors to their rooms. I did plenty of traveling in the USA in the 90's and I didn't come across a hotel here in the USA that used key cards for the first time until the late 90's. It was during a business trip to Washington DC and I got a room at the Doubletree hotel. I still remember having a hell of a time trying to get the door open. I guess from this movie being made in 1980, that's something that was already in use in Europe and didn't become a norm in the USA until almost a decade later?
  11. Beaten the game for the 2nd time

Thanks. Have resumed Tomb Raider Anniversary. Managed to beat that pesky T-Rex after weeks of trying
  12. Everything about Movies and DVDs

That was fun but I was expecting it to be a bit more hilarious. Maybe it will improve. There are 13 episodes total. Hope it doesn't become one of those FOX shows that gets cancelled before the debut season is over and leaves many unaired episodes.
  13. Everything about Movies and DVDs

Me too hope it succeeds. It's been a real long time since we had a space sci-fi show even if it's like a Galaxy Quest spin-off.

This premiered tonight. I recorded it and will watch it after my kids go to sleep.
  15. Beaten the game for the 2nd time

Good stuff congrats! Have fun playing Tomb Raider 3
  16. Phew I finally made it to the end once again. It was almost as hard as the first time except I had most of the treasures. Couldn't find a few though despite following the walkthrough to the letter. I did find a few that I'd not found 1st time through. Also I found this time the Helhiem Portal room a real challenge as the damned Thralls kept re spawning which made crossing the pool somewhat hard but I kept at it and made it through. I also found the last level easier than the first time went through it really quick. Its a damned good game. Back to trying Tomb Raider 3 now for 2nd time.
  17. 2nd play through.

Thanks. Trying to find the treasure I've missed is a chore. Followed the walkthrough very careful too.
  18. 2nd play through.

Yes, this is a common bug. Deleting your old game files should help. For details see http://tombraiders.net/stella/walks/TR8walk/rewards.html#replay Good luck!
  19. 2nd play through.

I dunno if its a Glitch or what but I'm on the 2nd time through the game new game selected and I noticed on the Mediterranean Sea level it showed me as having found 23/26 Treasures. Its the same on other levels too. I find pots and kick them all and no treasure. Its kind of weird.
  20. So the roach the size of a grain of rice I dropped in over 24 hours ago is gone. Where did it go? I saw it getting encased in spider web. You can see the floor tile below the spider web being the spider web is clear to the naked eye. There is nothing on the floor tile below it. The spider is still there and I think it has gotten a bit bigger than a pin prick.
  21. NEED a job?

Not sure if I will want to be caught driving this thing! Plenty of jobs out there right now for anyone who wants a job and driving this thing to earn money to pay my bills would be my very last resort. Reminds me of a friend who worked for NAPA Auto parts when he was in college and he drove around in this, even took girls out on dates in it: Or you call Truly Nolen for pest control service and they show up in this:
  22. What the heck kind of window has an inside pane that opens and an outside pane that doesn't with 18 inch of space in between them? This is one of those instances I will have to say: WTF!! and ROTFLMAO!! p.s. He invited her over to watch a documentary about Scientology? Girl: You need to run away from him as far and as fast as you can!
  23. There is a spider in one of my guest bathroom. It has a web at one of the corner of the floor over where the baseboard meets each other and form an L. The web is probably 2 square inch large. The spider is about the size of a pin prick. I took a look at it with a magnifying glass and it's 2 balls connected to each other like an 8: one smaller: its head; one larger: its body. I've first noticed the web about 3 weeks ago. Most folks' reaction is to immediately kill it and swat the web away; or to run out of the bathroom screaming like a scaredy girl: "Spider! Spider! There is a spider in the bathroom! EEEEK!". I left it alone - spiders are good for the household environment. I have been checking on it every few days. About 2 weeks ago there was a fly in the house. I caught it and drop it into the web. The fly was struggling to get out of the web - trying to fly out. The spider did nothing for about 2 minutes and then boom, it pounced on the fly: going to it, going in circles around it, underneath it, above it, back and forth and before you know it, the fly was encased in its web and no longer moving. Few days ago I checked on the spider and its still there but where did the fly go? The web was empty again. Tonight I caught a small roach, about the size of a grain of rice. I drop it in and this time, instead of waiting, the spider pounced on it immediately and within minutes, the roach was also encased in spider web. It's amazing how a tiny spider the size of a pin prick can in no time encase a fly or a roach almost 3 times its size. According to several websites, household spiders help control the pest population. They don't just built a web and then wait for an unfortunate household pest to fall into it. They also leave their webs and go hunting for food looking for household pests like roaches, flies, moths, etc. If that's true, then this must be a lazy spider because except for the fly and the roach I threw into its web, I haven't seen any other web encased insects in it. Of all the Itty Bitty Spiders that had to visit my house, I had to get a lazy one.

Two Mules For Sister Sara (1970) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0065134/ During the French Intervention in Mexico (honestly I never heard of this before): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_intervention_in_Mexico Cowboy Hogan (Eastwood) saves a nun from robbers he ends up getting more than he bargained for. Originally intended for Elizabeth Taylor, Shirley MacLaine was cast at the last minute to take the title role of Sister Sara. She didn't get along with Director Don Siegel, who previously directed Eastwood in Coogan's Bluff and will go on to direct Eastwood in 3 more movies: The Beguiled, Dirty Harry, Escape From Alcatraz. There are also rumors that MacLaine also didn't get along with Eastwood during the filming. A few years later when MacLaine was writing her autobiography and memoirs, she had nothing to say about Eastwood as if she and Eastwood never starred in a film together. This film marks the first time an A-list actress was Eastwood's leading lady in a film who also gets top credits billing before him: and Eastwood made sure it didn't happen again for 25 years until another A-list star was to play his leading lady in The Bridges Of Madison County. Exciting, witty, humourous and featuring an energetic musical soundtrack by Ennio Morricone, this movie has quite a few surprises. 4.5/5

The Outlaw Josey Wales (1976) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0075029 Josey Wales is a Missouri farmer who joins an elite Confederate guerrilla unit and together, they are responsible for defeating and routing many Union army units in several battles and skirmishes during the American Civil War. When the war ended after the Union victory, all Confederate units are required to surrender to the nearest Union outpost and swear allegiance to the United States of America and to the Constitution of the United States. Those who don't surrender and swear such allegiance are considered criminals and traitors and they will be hunted down until they are either captured alive or killed. Josey Wales is one of those who refuses to surrender, especially when the Union unit he is supposed to surrender to was also the same one who were responsible for the murder of his wife and son a few years earlier at the beginning of the Civil War. Wales decides to make his way to Texas or to Mexico, where most outlaws at the time fled to to avoid prosecution. Along the way, with bounty hunters and union soldiers still in hot pursuit, he unwillingly picks up an odd group of strangers including a Kansas religious lady and her daughter, an old Cherokee, a Navajo woman, and many others. Eastwood himself had said this film is one of the high point of his Western film career and he considers it to be the best Western he has ever made: What? Really? Not Unforgiven? Which he won two Academy Awards for Best Picture and Best Director? In 1996, The Outlaw Josey Wales was deemed "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant" by the United States Library of Congress and selected for preservation in the National Film Registry. It was also one of the few Western films to receive critical and commercial success in the 1970s at a time when the Western was thought to be dying as a major genre in Hollywood. (source: wiki) The strong cast does a good job at fleshing out the characters and building up their motivations and background stories. The only weak link in the cast is Sondra Locke. She doesn't do much with the character she is portrayed. 5/5 High Plains Drifter (1973) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0068699/ Between the time Clint Eastwood made the last movie in Sergio Leone's No Man's trilogy: 1966's The Good, the Bad and the Ugly and the time he made a more contemporary western in 1985 Pale Rider, he also made several other western films. They were: starting with Hang' Em High in 1968, Paint Your Wagon, Two Mules For Sister Sara, Joe Kidd, High Plains Drifter, and The Outlaw Josey Wales in 1976. Man! This was a damn good movie. An early Eastwood directorial too. 5/5 Joe Kidd (1972) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0068768/ In the western territory of future state of New Mexico, a former bounty hunter turned rancher unwillingly gets involved in a land dispute between ruthless, greedy wealthy white men and the Mexican peasants who have legal ownership of the land before it was forcefully taken from them by the white landowners settling west. Featuring a cast of familiar actors including Robert Duvall, Don Stroud, John Saxon (he played the town Lieutenant, Nancy's father in A Nightmare On Elm Street and one of the tournament fighters contestants in Enter the Dragon), Dick Van Patten, Gregory Walcott (Plan 9 From Outer Space), I was expecting more action and more fleshing out of the characters and exposition on the land dispute. Why? The screenplay is written by Elmore Leonard and the film is directed by John Sturges: the director of legendary films such as the Great Escape, the Magnificent Seven, the Eagle Has Landed, Bad Day at Black Rock, Ice Station Zebra, Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, and The Old Man and the Sea. Plus the lead in to the climax was dumb. Supposedly a different ending was written and the producer jokingly said "... instead of doing the ending in the script, it would be silly but fun if we change it to this other thing..." and the cast and crew took his joke seriously and went with it. 3/5 Hang 'Em High (1968) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0061747 Clint Eastwood's first post 'Sergio Leone's The Man With No Name trilogy' Western genre film starring role: the first of many American movie studios made Westerns he will end up making during the late 60's to the late 70's. This is a strong denounciation of the American justice system during the west or more specifically, the lack of a justice system; a system so corrupt and flawed, one man will decide everyone's fate with no appeals. A justice system where the accused, whether guilty or innocent, have no rights, and the lawmen enpowered to bring in the accused are doing the Devil's work and bidding. This movie also co-stars a young Dennis Hopper and Bruce Dern. 4/5
