That has been rescheduled to summer 2025 for reshoots after multiple advance screenings. Not a good sign. New Mad Max Furiosa (5/24) New Alien: Romulus trailer (8/16) this was originally a HULU movie like the last Predator film "Prey" that was made directly for HULU. But when writer director Fede Alvarez showed the script to producer Ridley Scott (Alien, Alien Prometheus, Alien Covenant), Scott was so excited by it, 20th Century Fox decided to make it a theatrical movie. When the Final Cut was screened for Ridley Scott and James Cameron (Aliens), they both approved it. Set between the events of Ridley Scott's Alien 1979 and James Cameron's Aliens 1986, I have a bit of high hope for this. Prometheus and Covenant, although visually stunning and well produced, suffered from very poor characters, lazy writing, predictability, tropes and cliches. This is only a teaser. Hope there will be a full trailer soon!

It was not good compared to Band of Brothers and The Pacific, both series that I have rewatched half a dozen times. Spielberg and Hanks were producers of those 2 series and also of Masters. But after watching Masters, I think Spielberg and Hanks were just names on it. They did not have any creative input and producer involvement.

I will try to keep an open mind but there is too much CGI making it look too clean: Band Of Brothers and The Pacific both have that realistic gritty you felt you were in the mud and blood look. Also some of the dialogue is dumb like Let's Rack Them Up And Knock em Down I don't think USAAF Bombers Crew spoke like that during World War II
