I just watched the crappiest movie of the year!!

Hancock

is the crappiest movie of the year;

it started out well and then went downhill as if the writers couldn't follow up and deliver with the premise they originally started so they decided to take the whole movie in a total 180 degrees different direction;

furthermore, after seeing the film in its entirety, I feel the trailers that were shown before this movie's release were completely misleading

and

additionally, the PG-13 rating was totally wrong; it should had been rated R!!

:huh::angry2::rolleyes::angry:

Aww, I don't wanna watch Hancock anymore. I saw Wanted yesterday and it was freakin' AWESOME! It's funny, the action is cool, but it's got some humor to it too. Angelina Jolie is so beautiful & James McAvoy didn't look too bad himself. I preffer the look he had in Penelope though.

:wub:

EDIT:

I just saw Mamma Mia! and I loved it. It was a lot of fun, but the threatre was freezing! Looking back at what I said about Penelope reminded me; the DVD has a sneak-peek of Twilight, coming out December 12th (the same day Underworld comes out!). I adore the books and I'm waiting, almost bouncing around, for the 4th and final book. The movie won't be as good as the book, of course, but it's still nice to see it acted out.

we just came back from watching

The Dark Knight

3.75 out of 5

Definitely better than the first one making it one of those few instances, where the Sequel is better!!

I just did a double feature today at the theaters. No they were not shown together,I saw them separately.

First I saw The X-Files:I want to believe. Really good movie.While the production wasn't quite like the first movie, it was good. It felt more like a TV episode/movie than it did as a Hollywood flick. It didn't have anything to do with the general known X-Files storyline but was more like one of the stranger episodes.

Next I watched The Dark Knight. Wow! I mean what can I say,Wow! Heath did amazing as the Joker. The makeup/CGI on two face was ugh/unreal.

I'm very much looking forward to seeing this because I used to be a big X-Files fanatic in high school. I'm glad it's more like a stand-alone episode rather than about the alien conspiracy stuff because I preferred the episodes that weren't part of the continuing story much more.

Yeah, Heath Ledger was brilliant. I'm not surprised that people are talking about a possible Oscar nomination; he totally freaked me out.

Thanks for the Harry Potter trailer j7! Can't wait for that movie :woho: I'm busy reading through the series again :D

We saw the Dark Knight last night - really enjoyed it - Heath Ledger suitably sinister. However, wasn't that impressed with Christian Bale as Batman - thought he tried a little too hard and didn't like the way his voice changed when he donned the suit, but overall a good performance!

Yeah, amazing job being the Joker, best one ive seen. He was hilarious too like that one part:

where he is outside the hospital tapping the remote then BOOM! and he just like...ok gotta run, lolz that was funny.

I didn't like that girl tho, me wanted Katie Holmes again but oh well.

and didn't like the way his voice changed when he donned the suit,

Oh I know, that was weird.

I have also seen Hancock, Hellboy: The Golden Army, Journey to the center of the earth (3D). I thought hancock was ok, hellboy meh didnt really like, and Jorney was awsome! I mean Brendan Fraser is just simply adorable! :woho: I still want to watch Space Chimps, and The new Mummy movie comes out tomorrow.

I just saw The Dark Knight today. If Heath Ledger doesn't get an Oscar for his role as the Joker, I'll be beyond shocked (if that's even possible),h e really had the part down. Christian Bale was not as good, and I too didn't like the voice change when he had the suit on. All the other previous Batman's didn't do that.

and didn't like the way his voice changed when he donned the suit,

In the cartoon Batman changed his voice every time he wore the suit too. It was supposed to make him scarier to the bad guys AND disguise his voice when he's near people who might recognize him. However, when he was talking to Alfred or Lucius, I was like... dude... seriously, they know who you are! Cut it out!!

Believe me J7, the series is simply AMAZING. I cried in New Moon (the second) and Eclipse (the third) too. I just got Breaking Dawn yesterday and I'm dying to read it, but I can't until I'm finished with my summer reading and math.

:glare:

The new Mummy movie wasn't HORRIBLE, but it wasn't the same without Rachel. It was pretty exciting to watch though. Lots of action!

:woho:

Thank you for the Twilight and Harry Potter links in HQ!

Edit:

I saw Pineapple Express today and I couldn't stop laughing! If you liked Knocked Up and Superbad, go watch it! & if you didn't, well...that's too bad...

Just saw the Dark Knight...wow, that was awesome. Wow. That's all I can really say about it.

I don't mind his voice changing when he was in the suit, it's what I would do if I were a superhero...albeit I probably wouldn't go so deep and growly since I'm a woman...I'd just add an accent or something :wacko:

I know this sounds sick, but I'm kinda disappointed

that The Joker didn't die...or that we didn't see him die. It kinda opens up the possibility of him returning, and I really don't want anyone other than Heath Ledger to play him again; he was THAT good.

Also, did Harvey Dent actually die? Or what? Kinda got confused at that point, even though they had a ceremony for him...

Overall, best Batman film ever!

I've heard that

the Heath Ledger was originally signed on to return as the Joker, and that's why his fate was left open like that. I doubt that the Joker will be back anytime soon though, so we'll just be left with that ending. Harvey Dent could well return IMO. I seems strange to have all that set-up for the character of Two-Face and then deal with it so quickly.

I went to see Hancock on friday. I really enjoyed it, though I have to say, it was nothing like I expected. Yes, through the first 30 minutes or so you have the "Give me a break" running through your head...but it picks up quickly. And as for an R- rating, I didn't see anything that would suggest that.

I'm sure kids see worse blood and violence in the video games they play.

Just my two cents... Hancock was a good movie.

Yeah, I found that weird, too. I really enjoyed the film, though. Just that Batman's-voice-changing-thing.

:lol:
