Hi I have the old Desktop Lara install files and I have had the program working in Windows 10. Now I am trying to reinstall it on the same computer and it keeps popping up a window that says a Internet Connection is required, I do of course have an internet connection but I can't get past that point. I believe that I had this same thing years ago, but don't remember how I got around it. I wondered if anyone else has an answer for this? I didn't use it all that much but I liked to turn it on once in a while when I had company who were interested in games. Mike Hawthorne... I played Tomb Raider since the first week of TR1, believe that I was the first person in the world to figure out the easy way across the burning pillars. I've played all the TR games up through TR4 without using any aid kits, and played TR1 all the way through without saving or restarting in any level. Hi For me it's the PC just as I have every other Tomb Raider game ever! I can't wait, only 2 days to go, I have already ordered it on Steam, The Tomb Raider games are some of the best games to play in 3D Vision. Even the older games look great, but Tomb Raider 2013 was fantastic in stereo. All those big valleys and walks across logs etc. are really scary when you can see the depth falling away, and it's one of the few games that aren't harder to play in 3D, everything renders at the correct dept etc, so that targeting isn't a problem at all. I'm playing on a 27" 144 FPS monitor. Mike

Hi I haven't played Underworld for a long time, but I reinstalled it and I'm having a problem that I had before. The problem is that I don't remember how I fixed it and I can't seem to find the solution searching. I'm in the first part of the game in a room where you have to pick up stones and place them on areas in the floor to weigh it down. The trouble is that whenever I try and set the stones down they fly around the room and I can't get them to stay in the correct location. I remember having this issue in the past, and I thought it had something to do with video settings but I can't figure it out. Anyone know how to fix this? Mike

Hi Well, I'm at 99%, and I haven't found a grenade to get through the door and get the last relic. I still haven't found the 4th siren yet either, but that's the only two things in the game that I haven't found. I'll find the siren eventually but if I don't find a grenade then I'll never get to 100%. Mike

Hi I've been through the game 3 times, and this time I swore that I was going to find everything. Well I'm almost there, 98%. But I need to get to the last Relic in the Research Base and I need a grenade to open the entrance to it's location. This has been going on for several days, I'v run around looking for the other stuff, and figuring that eventually I'll pick up a grenade someplace but it hasn't happened. Two days and I haven't gotten another grenade anyplace. I seem to find tons of everything else. Anyone have any idea how I can get one so that I can finish this? Mike

Hi For me I just couldn't play it, the isometric controls just drove me so crazy I couldn't stick with it long enough to get the hang of it. I guess it will be the only Tomb Raider game that I don't finish. Mike

Hi Never mind, I figured it out. I'm running Windows 10 and it didn't load the correct drivers for my Microsoft Natural Keyboard. When I downloaded and installed the software for it, I was able to do it in just a few seconds. Mike

Hi I've played through Tomb Raider 2013 before. I decided to start over and I can't get through the first sequence. It took me about 10 minutes to get her to swing to the point that she set the hanging bag on fire, and after another 15 minutes I can't get her to swing far enough to set the robe on file and drop to the floor. She does respond the the keystrokes but it just seems like it isn't enough. Very frustrating. I'm using a mouse and keyboard. Same one I used to play through the game before. Anyone have any idea why she seems so laggy when trying to swing. I logged into an old save and things seemed normal. Mike

Hi Only a short rant, I just saw the news about the next Tomb Raider and I can't say how disappointed I am. I'm sure I'm not the first to post this but I didn't see anyone else's to add on to so here I am. I got the first Tomb Raider game the week it came out and have played every game since on the PC, multiple times. I just finished Tomb Raider 2013 for the second time. I was a regular on the original Tomb Raider forum for years under the handle "Nohjekim". And I still believe I was the first person to discover the easy way to get across the flaming pillars in TR1. I'm not going to buy a game box just to play the next game so this may be the end of the line for me. The logic of limiting the access to the game makes no sense other then the fact that they must have been payed an enormous amount of money to reduce their sales by huge numbers to promote a specific product. If I had a way to protest I'd do it but I don't buy anything from Microsoft but Windows so theirs not much I can do. I'm testing Windows 10 right now and Tomb Raider runs great on it in Stereo 3D, to bad I'll never see how the next one looks. I wouldn't have a problem with them getting a few months head start but to deny it to all the PC users who have been avid supporters for decades is just wrong. Mike

Hi everyone. Well the game got delayed on my order from Amazon, but I got it yesterday. I have it installed and have done a little of the opening level. I love it! It is just enough like the original to bring back memories, and just enough different to have a few surprises. I have gotten used to the controls now and find it easy to do, much more so then some of the old ones where the rope jumping could drive you crazy. I can tell already that I will want to play it again as soon as I finish. I didn't feel that way about the last 2. So far I haven't had to use any aid kits so I'll see if I can ad it to my list of TR games completed without using any aid kits. I'm going to take my time and look at everything; I don't want to rush through it the first time. Lara looks great! I am a designer and illustrator, so maybe this time I will try to design an outfit for her. Mike

Hi I was lamenting how Lara couldn't do her flips as she used to. Well I was wrong, at least partly. Lara can do the traditional flips in combat mode. That's the key, when out of combat mode she can not flip but once she is in combat mode hitting a direction key and the jump button does make her flip, just like in the trailer. I feel better now!
