Want it or not there is blood in Anniversary

Blood screenshot

Personally I think its good that they have included blood in Anniversary. It looks alot better than a few pixels on the ground from the previous games.

Yea, I'm still hoping there will be blood in this game!
It's been given a 16+ age rating, so maybe there will be?
Considering Legend got a 12+ age rating...

Maybe they just aren't allowed to show blood in screenshots because they are accessible to people of any age via the Internet

I think it's because it adds realism to the game, and it makes Lara's deaths seem that much more satisfying/gruesome to people (Satisfying for me lol). If she hits spikes and nothing happens it's not as shocking as hearing her scream and then see blood flying everywhere. It also makes her situation seem more real so I can connect with her more as a human on a computer based level of course.

The blood in the screen looks like TR3 water blood..
I hope they'll make it similar to TR2 blood, not too gory yet so Tr-ish, IMO. Heck, TR isn't a horror game, but it needs it's realism.

Satisfying for me too! wink.gif Haha!
I'm not that bothered about blood on Lara when she dies, but I would like there be blood from enemies when Lara shoots them - just like in the original games

i don't get it anyway... i mean blood is good in games mostly for the realism... but she is shooting a mummie cat (or however that is written) they are suppost to be dead for like a 1000 years or something, they are not suppost to bleed should they?

Ok, ok well if we're going to get technical wink.gif
If the mummies have been dead, and embalmed and all that jazz, then I guess they shouldn't bleed as they have no blood in them...
But the wild animals, bears, wolves, bats, crocs etc should!
'Cause they're alive 'n' kickin' biggrin.gif

rolleyes.gif i know... i was only talking about the mummies and all. what really would have been great, instead of the mummies bleeding (or not bleeding laugh.gif ) is, if you shoot at the mummies there would be coming dust out of their wounds. i mean you know...mummies, dead for 1000 years, old and dusty.

I read somewhere that Lara's clothes can become torn while she's exploring what would be good is if she could have dried blood, hers or animal over her or under the torn pieces of clothing.

Im glad there will be blood anniversary but disappointed there wont be much! I agree with ms croft that it makes the game more horrific and gory which makes it more realistic and satisfying.

Actually I would like to see some blood in Anniversary and I do agree with Ms. Croft, it would give the game some realism.

I looked at the screenshot as it reminded me of the original game, the blood spatter is almost identicle (escuse my spelling) but that's what observed. Otherwise I think I watch too much csi. LOL!!!
