]]>9602Sun, 14 Nov 2021 19:27:56 +0000Would this make a good BloodRayne game series?https://www.laracroftonline.net/topic/9621-would-this-make-a-good-bloodrayne-game-series/ This is something I started over 2 years ago as a hobby that's a sequel series that continues where both BloodRayne 2 and Nocturne left off called Shroud Above or BloodRayne: Nocturne, since both ended with a 'to be continued' ending, while I'll admit I'm not sure about the ownership status of Nocturne. I read some loose rumors that it now was part of the BloodRayne package, but that probably started because of the BloodRayne wiki and the fact that the Nocturne characters have bios in that.

There's also a usage and re-purposing of unused characters from BloodRayne 2 like Mora and Kasumi, while there are new characters.

I also created a mapping of sorts that creates some links between BloodRayne 1-2 and Nocturne, as well as the Blair Witch games, so to make the Nocturne characters more part of the story and less part of the background and of course not changing anything from the games that came before.

Like with Black Mesa, the recreation of Half-Life 1, using the Half-Life 2 engine. While things like knocking down weaken walls could be done with the kick function and the voice audio and music soundtrack of BloodRayne 1 could perhaps be recycled like they did with the Destroy All Humans remakes.

Ziggurat Games and Terminal Reality is still the developer and Laura Bailey (The Voice Of Rayne) returned to add her voice to the re-vamped BloodRayne Betrayal called Fresh Bites.

The Re-Vamped games are now wide screen and support 4k with updated resolutions in graphics and cut scenes.
