I have read, everything, tried everything but cannot defeat them.  My problem is this.

After the Adrenaline Dodge, the centaur doesn’t slump, I get the red target on the head, fire and he just tramples over me or ends up behind me.

I tried the cheat of hiding in the cave.  When I came back out the one centaur was no longer throwing firebombs and the shield of the dead centaur was on the floor but I couldn’t pick it up.  I then had the AD issues as described above.

What am I doing wrong?  Am I shooting too late? Too early? Dodging too late? To early?  
 

I try everyday until I either die or use up all my medí packs.  Making me feel like giving up after waiting so long to play again.

I REALLY need help! Everytime i get them to freeze, and they expose their shields, i CANNOT grapple the hook.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Anniversary wont start on my windows 64bit PC. I have tried the following:-

I have installed it by right click on D:/setup and install as Administrator

I have turn off DEP for tra.exe

The Problem:-

WhenI try to run it, I get a little CD spinning icon while it checks the CD is in the drive, then about 10 seconds later I get a blank main screen and flashing second screen

Anyone can help???

MY PC is windows 64 with all latest drivers and patches (no patches applied to TRA, are there any?)

Have two screens 30" and 24" and graphics card GeForce GTX680. I trying to run the game on the 30" U3014 screen.

I have problems playing Lara croft anniversary, when i first bought it i was able to completed the game and get the relics and artifcats, then i stoped to ply this game because i had more things to do. A year passed and I wanted to play it again but when i turned on the PS2 the initial movie started to run but then the screen stays black 4ever.

I deleted my LC anniversary saves from my 8Mb memory card and then i was able to access the menu to select my saved games (i had none because i deleted them from memory card) i decided to make a new save when i chose to save an information came up: please dont remover ur memory card blablabla... i left it saving for like 4 hours and it didnt, the music also turned repetitive.

I restarted my PS2 and in the saves menu i saw a "Corrupted Save", i deleted it and then i came back to main menu and selected Start game, the screen went black but after 30 minutes or so it loaded the first level in an icy mountain with lara's spanish guide or something like that, i completed the level and then i was asked to save i did it and i noticed,again, than the sound started to be repetitive again.

Can some one help me fix this? i really want to play the game again but i dont want to buy it again :<

Can tell any one please which button's i want to use point them, i mean after they charge they come near to me, after what to do i don't know.........

Addendum: I think posting my problem on the board is my lucky charm. After repeated attempts to get out of there sheer determination and persistence prevailed. WHEW!

I stand there and press A and flick the nunchuk but it doesnt grip onto anything - i keep getting an arrow and a blue dot - what are these and am i supposed to run, jump and flick all at the same time!!??????

Any help would be appreciated to get me started on this game!!

1) Run, fire and dodge the whole time(O+L1+R1). Its harder for them to pick you up with fireballs and green beam.

2) Toggle left and right when they green beam you(L2)(they cant lock on when you do this).

Hope this helps.

Now the centaurs will get mad as red meter goes up. After they charge, screen goes blurry.

Press (O) and you get two circles coming from both sides.

When they meet in middle, shoot. Now they are dazed.

Grapple their shield(press square).

Once you have done this to both horsemen, now all they will do is green beam you.

To avoid the green beam, press L2 back and forth, they cant lock onto you as long as you do this.

As you shoot and crouch jump around to avoid them(O) wait for them to green beam then pick up your shield to shoot green beam back.

This will petrify them temporarily. Use your high caliber bullets or shotgun to take life away. Eventually, they will shatter when they have no more life.

I'm at the point where I'm in a room with pillar type levels that release fire.

I'm trying to get the relic-I know you only have a short amount of time to pull the lever, swim back to the other side, jump across the different levels, traverse round one and jump up then across but I've tried it so many times...and always just fail to make it in time.

Is there anything I can do to make it across easier or do it any quicker because it's driving me up the wall?

LEVEL 10: OBELISK OF KHAMOON

SLOPE-TO-STEPS ROOM: The metal ring on the wall ahead is retracted, so you can't grapple it yet. Slide down the long slope to land on the shorter one below. Slide to the floor and immediately take aim at the cat mummy standing to the right. If you circle around to the left, shooting constantly, you can probably take it down before it reaches Lara. Pick up the shotgun shells on the floor and 2 small medipacks—one in the small alcove with two entrances, one in the leftmost of the three raised alcoves. (There's an additional small medipak in the Wii game on the floor in plain sight.)

Climb into the raised alcove on the right and use the switch to change the slope into block steps, open the two barred doorways and extend the metal grappling ring on the wall near the entrance. CHECKPOINT 13 registers after these changes occur.

Pull the movable block out of the little alcove and go in behind the block to find another small medipack.

CLIMB ONTO THE BLOCK AND JUMP TO GRAB THE HANDHOLD ABOVE. JUMP TO THE HANDHOLD ABOVE THEN JUMP TO THE LEFT AND GRAPPLE THE METAL RING ABOVE.

Wall run back and forth and jump to the left to grab the handhold in the corner. If you grab the scarab switch below instead, quickly jump up to the handhold before the switch descends too far. Climb to the left and jump to the ledge.

She just won't grapple the ring!!! Am I forgetting something or just doing something wrong? Anyone who knows can just email me at hwing13@yahoo.com as that is the best way to get ahold of me. Thanks.

Is there a code or something where i can just avoid trying to knock him off and move on?

I love this game, but WOW it has really been challenging.

I keep getting a crc error when installing, I have read that I should copy all the files to my hard drive and then install from there to overcome this but when doing this there is a file called archive.d00 which won't copy across.

Any help would be much appreciated, I really wanna play this game!!! I'm not very computer literate so simple computer speak please.

Am having abit of trouble on the first level - the mountain caves is that to finish the level you need to open the large door by pulling on two counterweights. However even though I have pulled on the two coutnerweights and stood on the level within the time limit there still seems to be a wooden bar that goes across the door to prevent it opening.

ANy ideas or am I being stupid?

The board goes blank. You hear the sound like you should push O and the screen should go blurry but it doesnt, He just says"You foolish girl". Then blows Lara away.

I am a music student at the University of Gloucestershire. One of my projects requires my group to write music specifically for four different types of media.

I would love to be able to implement the music we write into a level of Tomb Raider Anniversary, but don't know where to start. I would greatly appreciate any direction that would enable me to do this.

I have Tomb Raider Anniversary on a MacBook Pro so a Mac-friendly solution would be fantastic. If this is a problem though, I also have a PC with Windows XP and would not mind purchasing the game again if the solution is only possible with a PC.
