[Morph]

I suddenly sat straight up in my bed. I looked around the room.

"I could've swarn...No, he couldn't have...was it him?" I thought "No, it couldn't have been" I said out loud.

I looked over at the clock "6am. I might as well get up" I said as I got up out of the bed. I went into the bathroom and quickly freshened up. Then I went outside the room. Closing the door behind me, I headed to the lift.

"Oh, right. I had to go and talk to Auron. Where would he be at this hour?" I asked myself "Ah, the deck" I said to myself again as I pressed the button for the deck.

When the doors opened I stepped out and saw Auron standing there, looking out the window "Good morning, Sir Auron. I need to speak to you about something" I said walking over to him.

[Blade]

I looked at Yuna as she came walking to me and said "I've got something to tell you as well. But I'll let you go first." Yuna looked out the window and then looked back to me "Rikku told me that you weren't going to stay with us in Luca. She said you told her you were bored from being on this ship." I nodded and said "Its true, I did say that. But there is something I must tell you." Yuna had that look on her face, like she knew what was coming next wouldn't be good "Seymour was here last night." Yuna gasped and then said "So I wasn't seeing things last night, I thought I was having a bad dream." I then said "He told me he has been aboard this ship for a while and he said he knows how to destroy this ship." Yuna then said "Did he do anything?" I then said "He put up his hand and this bright light came over it. Before he left he said that if we had problems with him 2 years ago, we haven't seen anything yet. He then just snapped his fingers and he disappeared." Yuna looked really worried and I said to her "So I'm not leaving you in Luca. Seymour has that kind of power to go anywhere he wants and not be seen. I won't let you out of my sight. You have my word as your guardian."

[Morph]

"That's good to know. Thankyou for telling me, Sir Auron" I turned to leave, then stopped and turned back "If...if Seymour has threatened to destroy the ship, there's no denying he won't keep his word. I too, think it would be best if we kept going by foot once we reach Luca" He nodded. I turned and stepped inside the lift "If you need me, I'll be at the bridge" I added as I pressed the button that would lead to my destination.

Once the lift stopped and the doors opened I continued down the hall and to the bridge.

"Hey! Good mornin' Yunie!" Rikku called when she saw me. I smiled "Good morning everyone" I said as I climbed down the stairs.

"Should I tell them now?" I asked myself "No...I'll tell them in Luca".

I walked over to Buddy "We nearly in Luca?" I asked.

"Yep. About 5 minutes away" he replied

"Great" I replied and turned. Sir Auron had come back down from the deck and was just coming down the stairs as I said "People! Front and center" - "I always wanted to say that" I laughed at myself.

"We're about to land in Luca. It should be safe down there, but you never know. Be prepared. Oh, and remember, try not to let anybody think we're on a Pilgrimage".

[Ms.Croft]

*3 hours earlier*

I stared up at the stars, and allowed myself to take in the tranquility that the stars brought with them. I was peaceful, it was nice.

"Enjoying yourself?" I turned around to the soft, cool albeit menacing voice. "Allow me to introduce myself,"

"Seymour Guado!" I said gasping standing up as soon as I could.

"I said allow me!" He swept his hand forward and a gush of wind knocked me to the edge of the ship. I struggled to stand up and looked at him. My stick had landed ages away. My face turned to fear. I have to protect Yuna, no matter what the costs!! My face then turned to anger, and I agressively swept my arm towards him. A bolt of lightning hit him squarly in the head but all he did was flinch. "Hm," He started, "That tickled!" With that, he appeared right in front of me. His long, snake like hand grabbed my neck and lifted me upwards. I dangled there but did not show fear in my face...until he hung me over the edge of the roof. I looked below me and all I could see were endless clouds, and bits of sea peering through the gaps. "Pathetic!" Seymour said before he threw me behind him, so that I landed on the roof. "This is what a lightning bolt feels like!!!!" He raised his arms towards the heavens, "Thundara!" A few lightning bolts hit me on the leg, stomach and head. That was when I blacked out.

*6am*

My eyes awoke to the dawn of a new day. I was alive, but how? I looked to my spell stick, it was glowing. I crawled closer to it and found that the lightning bolt jewel was the source of the glow. "Did this protect me?" I had to tell Yuna about Seymour and this, so I ran towards the elevator, limping as I went.

[Blade]

I was on the bridge as well when Yuna annouced we'd be landing at Luca. I looked around to see who was present and I saw Yuna standing by the Spheremap. I then called to her "Yuna." she turned around hearing me call to her, she walked up to me and I said "I just looked around the bridge, I think we're missing someone." Yuna then also looked around and then back to me "Yes there is someone missing." just then the lift doors open and Tetsuna came limping out. Yuna turned around and gave support to help Tetsuna walk. When Tetsuna was seated on a chair, Yuna asked her "What happened?" Tetsuna looked up at Yuna, her expression was not only that of pain but also anger "Seymour." she replied "He was on the deck where I was. I hit him with what I had, but it didn't have any effect. He tossed me like I was a rag doll and then he cast Thundara on me. I blacked out after that. " Yuna then touched her white mage sphere and changed to a white mage and said "Cure." she put her hand on Tetsuna's head and after that she said "Try to stand up." Tetsuna stood up and then took a few steps "Oh that's much better." she then held up her staff to Yuna "Look at my staff here." Yuna stood up and saw the lightning jewel glowing "Looks like that jewel absorbed the magic Seymour used on you." Tetsuna's expression got much happier and said "Does it mean I can cast a stronger spell? I have to find out when I get off this ship."

Buddy then called out "Luca in sight, we're preparing to land."

[Ms.Croft]

As the ship landed, I ran out as fast as I could onto the street.

"If that's the last time I fly that thing, I ain't complaining!!" I said looking behind me; waiting for Yuna and Auron. They were taking for what seemed like a millenium to get to where I was. I sighed and turned around, taking in the beauty of the huge city. "Wow...I've never stepped out of home, let alone come to a huge city!!" I muttered looking at the huge blitzball stadium. I ran across the pier and stopped at a moogle costume, "He he, cool!!" It moved suddenly, causing me to jump. I composed myself and then asked if I could have a sphere pic taken of me.

[Morph]

I stepped off of the airship and turned around.

"Rikku! Paine! Are you coming?" I called.

"Just a minute, Yunie!" cam Rikku's always happy voice.

Rikku ran down the ships ramp and Paine followed close behind. I wanted to include them as my guardians aswell.

We all turned to see Tetsuna getting her picture taken on a sphere camera. I smiled and laughed at her pose.

Rikku ran forward "Group picture!" she yelled. We all walked forward and got into the shot. Even Auron, although I could tell he really didn't want too. The person dressed as the moogle took the photo and handed it over to Rikku.

"Sweet. This is going in scrap book" She said and did her little dance.

"You don't have a scrap book" Paine said and crossed her arms.

Rikku stopped dancing "Uh...In my heart I do" Paine rolled her eyes.

"Where can we find this....Shelinda?" came Auron's voice.

"At this time of the year, there's really only one place" Paine replied.

"That's right! It's Blitz season! She'll be at the stadium!" Rikku finished.

"I love Blitz!" Tetsuna called as she finally turned away from the sphere camera. The moogle looked happier, probably because it was suddenly 50 Gil richer.

I nodded "The stadium it is. Let's go see Shelinda!".

We all began walking as the Celsius closed up and took off.

[Blade]

Looking around as I walked to the stadium with Yuna, Rikku, Paine and Tetsuna. Luca hadn't changed very much. But not only that, this was the very place I had met Yuna 2 years ago. It was here that I offered my serivces to her as guardian. I also knew back then how much the Al Bhed caused trouble for the guardians by trying to abduct Yuna several times during her pilgrimage. I was brought out of my reminiscing when Rikku bumped into me and said "Hey, are you with us?" I looked down at her and said "Hmph." she walked on ahead to catch up with the others. I took one last look around before walking into the stadium and then went on inside as the crowd started to gather for the blitzball match.

[Morph]

"Hmm. Where would she be at this time?" I asked to nobody in particular.

"Wellllll....the match is about to start, so wouldn't she be up there in front of the camera?" Rikku replied, pointing to the stairs leading to the seats in the stadium.

I nodded "Only one way to find out" I said as I took off up the stone steps.

Once I reached the top, I could see the sphere pool just being filled up. I looked around as everyone came up behind me.

"I can't see her" I said as I looked around "No, she's not here"

"Who would know where she is then?" Tetsuna asked

"The guys in the sphere network place?" Paine asked

"Yeah, let's go and ask them" I replied and we began walking off.

Auron was standing still, and, once again, Rikku ran over to him "Uh...knock, knock...is anybody in there?" she mused.

"Hmph" came Auron's reply as he followed her.

A chill suddenly ran up my spine and I stopped for a brief moment "Something isn't right" I said to myself as I continued.

[Blade]

When I walked with the girls to the sphere network place I put my hand to my sword. I felt it too, something wasn't right around here. Yuna knocked on the door and a guy opened it "Lady Yuna." he said "What brings you here?" Yuna then said "We're looking for Shelinda. Have you seen her?" the guy then said "Actually we've been trying to contact her, and we're not getting a response. With the match about to start, we have to have her for commentating. I"d go look myself, but I'm too busy directing things on this side." he looked outside the door and he saw Auron "Wow, Sir Auron is here too. Well anyway, I got to get back to work. Please try to find Shelinda for me." he closed the door.

Yuna turned around "Well I guess the place to look next would be around the locker room area. But we aren't allowed access there." she looked at Rikku and then we all looked at her and Rikku said "So you want me to sneak in and see if she's there. Guess I better make a change." she got her dressphere grid and touched the thief sphere. Rikku then handed everyone some micro transmitters "I swiped these before I left the ship. I can talk to you all directly while the match is going on." Just then the crowd came alive and Yuna said "Looks like the match is starting soon, let's get to our seats."

[Morph]

As soon as we all sat we heard Rikku's voice in our ears.

"Alrighty. Proceeding to locker room number one" she said.

"That was quick" Tetsuna replied.

"Um...it's empty" came Rikku's voice again.

"Check inside the lockers" Auron told her.

"Erm....?"

"Check Rikku" I replied.

"Okay" she added and began opening every door in there "Nothing".

"Alright, move to the next room" Auron told her again.

"You know what! I could use a hand!" Rikku tried not to yell. I could tell she was getting angry. She hated being told what to do.

"I'm coming. I'll check the bay on the right" I replied and ran down the stairs leaving everyone sitting and waiting.

As I ran, I quickly hit the Thief node on my Garment Grid and the swirls of light came, then I was wearing the Thief Dressphere. I ran down the stairs to the right bay, opened the far door and entered. This was the Aurochs' locker room two years ago. This was where Wakka gave up Blitz, so he could be my Guardian.

I shook my head "No time for memories now, Yuna. You got a job to do" I mentally slapped myself for getting wrapped up in my thoughts again.

I quickly check the room and the lockers, before going to the headset "Locker room 'A' empty" I said as I exited and proceeded to the next room. As I searched the lockers in the next room I heard Rikku's voice "Locker rooms 'C' and 'D' both empty. How about your side Yunie?".

"Just a sec" I replied. As I began opening the door to the last locker I began talking "No, this room is ---" I stopped "Shelinda! I found her. Locker room 'B' on the right"

I pulled Shelinda out of the locker and layed her on one of the stools. She was out cold.

I healed Shelinda and as she woke up I heard...laughter "Well done, Lady Yuna"

I looked up "Seymour" I glared at him as he walked forward "Shelinda go over there" I said motioning to the back wall. She quickly moved.

"I knew you would come here to see her" he said motioning to Shelinda as he advanced to me "Go away!" I said to him taking a step back.

He gasped slightly "Oh my, is that fear?" he mocked me "Do I sense fear coming from the great High Summoner?".

"Shelinda. Get out of here" I told her. She quickly got up and ran out the door "Where are you all? I said I found her!".

"Wondering where your friends are, hm?" I looked him in the eyes "I sent an electric charge through here. Your headset stopped working before you said that you'd found that woman".

"What do you want!?" I yelled as I backed away more. I couldn't fight him. Not yet, I wasn't strong enough.

"You know what I want" he replied calmly, I formed a ball of firaga and threw it at him. I stood shocked, it didn't even scold him!

"You call that magic? My, my. Where has your strength gone Lady Yuna?" he questioned as he aimed a thundaga at me. Before I realised it was coming, it hit me, and I hit the back wall, then fell to the ground. I could see the door open and my guardians charge in. Sir Auron in front. Shelinda had gotten them. I smiled but still layed still, I was in pain...

[Ms.Croft]

"Leave her alone you...you...you blue haired freak!" I said advancing towards Yuna. Auron placed his sword in front of me, stopping me from advancing. "I mean, what is it Seymour, use too much hairspray? Get a new hairstyle!!" I mocked, winking at Sir Auron. He seemed to be getting what I was doing and nodded. "Ohh, Thundaga...that so totally hurt me....not!!" His face turned to anger and he raised his arms.

"Fira!" He screamed before a fire wall surrounded my body. It closed in before disappearing before my eyes. I noticed from the corner of my eye the red jewel light up.

"Whoa, that huge hair must be blocking your brain dude!" I laughed before facing me.

"What type of armor is this!" This time he raised both his arms, "Waterga, Blizzzaga!!" Both spells hit me one after the other and affected the surroundings around me. Again, they were absorbed. "Ahhhhhh!!!!" He screamed before raising his arms one last time. "Ulllllllllllttttttiiiiii..." My eyes widened,

"Guys, run!!!" I spun my stick around and cued for them to leave. After a few spins, I let it in one hand and stuck it behind me. Then I finally brough it above my head and spun it. "Elements!!!" This attack was stronger, the charged jewels spun around emitting light and collected together. The formed a bright ball above me. I removed my stick and threw it on the floor. Next, I threw both my hands above my head and allowed the ball to float there. "It's time to burn!" I screamed before throwing the energy ball towards him. The attack hit Seymour and threw him off his feet, but not before he was able to utter the last syllable of that feared word. A huge black ball of energy surrounded me and my energy became ripped from my body. That was the last thing I remembered.

[Blade]

I stepped back into the room after the fight. Paine and Rikku behind me as I looked around, the locker room was a wreck. I saw Tetsuna laid out on the floor, I hoped she was still alive. I heard someone breathing, I looked behind me and Yuna was against the wall near the door "Can you stand?" I asked. Yuna nodded, she tried to get up. But she went back down instantly "Ouch, I can't stand. My back hurts a lot." I looked to Paine and Rikku and made a sign to them to move Yuna out of the room, in case Seymour may still be around. It was then I heard some faint laughing, I put my hand to my sword as I walked towards the source. Part of the room was dark so as I approached that side, I then saw a light and then Seymour.

Seymour looked up at me "I've not had someone so strong, so young to fight me." his breathing was a bit heavy "Her last attack, it really did some damage. But I still managed to put her down." I looked back at Tetsuna and Seymour said "Oh she's still alive, but she's in a real deep sleep. A coma in other words." He stood up and he put his hand to his ear "Oh I hear the security team coming, I better be going." he vanished. I walked back quickly to Tetsuna and picked her up from the floor. When I got out to the hall, I looked at Yuna "Can the Celsius teleport us out of here?" Yuna nodded, she tapped her commlink "Brother, get us out of here." in an instant a bright light came and we were all back on the Celsius.

[Morph]

We were teleported back to bridge.

"We'll keep Tetsuna here for now" I said as Auron followed me over to the stretcher that had been put in recently "We can look after her easier if she's here"

Auron placed her onto the stretcher and walked back to everyone else with me.

"YUNA!! We have a guest!" Brother screeched. "Why does he always do that?" I thought.

"Who?" I asked

"Let's just say...it's an old friend" Buddy replied as the doors behind us opened "Shinra!" I said in surprise.

"Hello everyone" came his voice "Buddy told me what was going on, so I came here as soon as possible" he said as he walked over to his old work station "I'll look after her for you" he said motioning toward Tetsuna.

"Great" I replied. I knew Tetsuna was in safe hands "We, on the other hand, still have some unfinished business. We haven't talked to Shelinda yet" I said and rubbed my back a little.

"But...Yunie, weren't you hurt aswell?" Rikku chirped.

"Don't worry, I'm fine" I replied before Brother had a chance to start screaming "We have to talk to her" I said as I turned around and headed for the exit.

"Seymour got me back there. I have to train harder. I won't let him get me or any of my friends again. But...what did he mean when her said that I already knew what he wanted? He couldn't mean...No. He couldn't"

[Ms.Croft]

My pupils contracted as the room came into view. I was laying somewhere comfortable and next to me was...

"Hi there!" I gasped sitting boltright and stared at the..thing. I placed my finger to his nose and tried to threaten him with fire. "Heh, you haven't got enough energy." He calmly muttered before brushing my finger away from his face. "I'll go tell Yuna you're up via comm link." He began to walk away.

"Comm link? You mean she's not here?" I managed to say as I cleared the sleep from my eyes.

"No, she's gone to find Shelinda." He nearly turned a corner before I interrupted him.

"How do you know all this?"

"I know everything." I sighed before falling back to sleep.

My eyes jolted open. How much time had passed? "Oh no!" I gasped, jumping from the stretcher. As I ran down the hall the walls of the Celsius began to blur as my mind rushed from dizzyness. I opened the door to the piloting room. "Uh..uhh...Brother? Yeah Brother! Where's Yuna!" I said holding my head.

"Fru teat yht syta ran Xiaah?" My mind raced as I tried to remember Al-Bhed.

"Who...ah forget it!" I suddenlt slumped onto the ground. I'd failed Yuna as a guardian...again. My attention suddenly turned to a small voice coming from a pair of headphones. "Yuna!" My legs got up as if separate from my body and raced towards the headphones. I yanked them from Brother and placed them over my head. "Yuna?!"

[Morph]

"Tetsuna?" I gasped slightly "You're awake already? Wait, what are you doing up? You should be resting"

"Well, yeah...but..."

"Nevermind about us, were fine. You just go and get your rest, we'll be back shortly" I finished and shut off the comm-link.

"Tetsuna is already awake" I announced to everyone.

"She's strong" came Auron's voice. He said that alot. I nodded.

We continued to where Shelinda worked. I knocked on to window, and it came up.

"Lady Yuna!" one of the men announced "How can we help you?"

"I'm looking for Shelinda. Is she here?" I asked.

"She's taking a break for the rest of the day. If you hurry, you might catch her at the cafe next door"

"Thankyou" I bowed and quickly ran over to the cafe with my guardians behind me. I saw Shelinda "Shelinda!" I called and waved to her.

"Oh, Lady Yuna!" she gasped "I didn't get the chance to thank you for your help earlier. So, thankyou"

"You're very welcome"

"How can I help you?"

"We need some information"

"Anything, my lady"

"Do you know anything about what's going on inside the temples? Or, the cloisters, to be more precise".

"Why, yes, actually. I do know some things about it..."

[Blade]

Shelinda looked at all of us and said "If you all don't mind the walk, we can talk at my place." She started walking and we followed, Yuna took her place beside Shelinda. We got to the center of the city and that's when I saw something in the air "Smoke" I said. Shelinda looked up "Oh no!!!" she cried out "That's coming from my place!!!" she took off running. Yuna, Rikku, Paine followed her. I walked as fast as I could, I wasn't the quickest person.

When we got there, a crowd of people were around and Shelinda had to push her way through. She stood there in shock. Yuna, Rikku, Paine got through and saw what was left of the place. I knew there was only one person responsible for that kind of destruction, but one of the citizens came up to Shelinda "I saw someone here earlier, but I didn't know who it was. All i know is he had blue hair." Shelinda turned around "Seymour!!!" she yelled out. Yuna put a hand to her shoulder "Do you remember anything you read?" Shelinda then said "I remember some of it." She looked at the rubble. I went around to the people still standing about "You all can go about your business." the crowd dispersed. Yuna then said "Well if you can remember. You should just come with us." Shelinda looked at Yuna "So I'd be like a guide. You know what, I think I will come. There's nothing left here for me to save." we walked away and Shelinda said "I'll have to make one last stop at the stadium." Yuna looked puzzled "Oh you thought I had that info at my place. I have it in a secured area in the stadium. Seymour made the mistake of torching my place, he will pay for that."

[Morph]

(OOC: Blade, Tetsuna is on the airship. )

We headed for the stadium, my guardians followed closely behind, while I walked beside Shelinda.

"So, where is this 'secure area'?" Rikku asked

"Oh, you'll see" Shelinda replied.

We walked up the stairs and walked around to where the maesters used to be seated. We climbed the stairs and stepped into the area. Shelinda began messing about with the bottom of the seat that belonged to the grand maester once. It was always reserved for...er...me, now. Although I've never used it.

"Under the old maester seat in the maesters box?" Paine question and raised an eyebrow.

"Hmph" came Auron's voice "The place it would be least suspected" I smiled at his response.

Shelinda removed the front panel of the chair and removed a box, then replaced the panel again. She stood and came to me "Here it is!" she declared happily.

"Great! Let's go!" I replied and put the comm-link back on "Brother, we're finished now"

"Rrrrooogggeeerrr" he screamed.

"Oh, would you stop that!" Rikku yelled at him.

"I AM THE LEADER!" he screamed back.

Both Paine and I shook our heads and rolled our eyes.

"Now, please, Brother" I said.

"Oh, yes. Sorry Yuna!" he replied.

We were then teleported back to the airship. The first thing I did - I made sure Tetsuna was okay.

[Ms.Croft]

Yuna ran up to me to see if I was alright. I looked at her, "You hung up on me!" Her face changed from worry to...more worry. I stood up and looked at her. "Never ever hang up on me again! I've been worried sick here for ages and I didn't rest, because I couldn't, because I was worried, because you hung up on me, because...why did you hang up on me?" Without waiting for a reply I crossed my arms and huffed like a 13 year old. Brother and Rikku were looking at each other.

"Frana tet oui veht drec kenm?"

"E tihhu, Yunie vuiht ran, un cra vuiht Yunie.

"Cra'c faent."

"Cra'c lida druikr."

"Hu, cra'c ehcyha, fryd ec cra?"

"Y pmylg syka! Mega Lulu."

"Cra'c kud dra yddedita uv Lulu!" My mind raised as they both spoke to each other. I did notice, however, Yuna looking at their mouths with concentration. Did she know what they were saying. My anger rose and before I knew it,

"Forget this!" I said, turning on my heel towards the stretcher room. I lay in my bed and crossed my arms staring fixed at the ceiling.

[Blade]

I came into the infirmary (if there is such a place on the Celsius) and saw Yuna standing with Rikku and Brother as they talked in Al-bhed. I looked on past them, seeing Tetsuna laying down on a stretcher and she really looked mad about something. I walked over to Tetsuna and said "Is there something you want to talk about." she didn't look at me, she kept her gaze to the ceiling "Yuna hung up on me. I was just wanting to know what she was doing. I was up here on the ship, all worried about her. I couldn't rest knowing I wasn't there with her." I looked back over and Rikku and Brother were still talking, Yuna had not moved either. I looked back to Tetsuna "I'm sure Yuna didn't mean to hang up on you. We were looking for information about the cloisters." Tetsuna finally sat up "I don't know what exactly Yuna is looking for about the cloisters." Just then I saw Yuna walking over and I said "But maybe Yuna can tell you more." I stood off to the side, and Yuna sat down with Tetsuna. I remained in place, that was until Yuna gave me a look which meant she needed to talk with Tetsuna alone. I nodded and headed out of the room.

[Morph]

I had my head down "Tetsuna. I'm sorry. I...I have alot on my mind right now"

"Like what?" Tetsuna snapped at me.

I hung my head lower "Like...what's really happening? What does Seymour really want?"

"What does he want?" she asked puzzled, one brow raised.

"He told me I already knew, but I can't for the life of me figure it out, it just doesn't...." I stopped "I don't want to trouble you with any of my problems. I truly am sorry Tetsuna" I left the room with tears threatening to fall. I quickly went to the lift and selected my destination. Once the doors opened again, I ran to my room and locked the door.

I walked over to the cupboard and took out a sphere, then walked to the bed and sat down. I switched it on. It was from my pilgrimage two years ago. It was from the Mi'ihen Highroad, on that small hill out front of the travel agency.

"That's where we first sat and watched the sunset" I whispered as I sat and watched. As I watched, the tears began to flow. They kept coming until I couldn't take it anymore. I lifted the sphere and threw it across the room, where it hit the wall and shattered. I fell back onto the bed and cried into the pillow.

[Blade]

I watched as Yuna ran out of the infirmary, I had never seen her run so fast. Whatever was said I had no idea, but I had no time to wonder as I heard someone calling for me "Sir Auron?" I stepped towards the door of the infirmary and I heard it again "Sir Auron?" I stepped in and Tetsuna was looking at me and she said "You were standing outside right." I nodded "Did you hear anything?" I replied "I heard nothing. I only saw Yuna run by me to get to the lift." Tetsuna tried to stand up "I have to go see her." her legs went out from under her and she landed back on the bed and I told her "You're not going anywhere. Stay here and rest." she tried to get up again and I said "Even if you were to go see Yuna now, she's really upset and most likely she has locked herself in her room. There will be time for talking later. We have to figure out where Seymour will make his next move." Just then the alarm was sounded and I heard Cid over the intercom "Everyone to battle stations!!!" I left the infirmary and headed to the lift, once in I pressed the button for the bridge.

I heard Cid's voice over the speakers and jumped up straight away. I quickly walked over to the sphere I had thrown ealier "Sorry" I whispered as I gathered the pieces and put them into the pouch on my belt. I opened the door and sprinted to the lift. Once in there I selected my destination as the bridge. It went down and the doors opened. I ran to the bridge and quickly jumped over the railing on the steps.

"What's going on?" I asked quickly

"There's an enemy coming in fast. We're gonna fight that thing, even it means...."

"....Risking our own lives and going down with the ship" Rikku chimed in.

"Ha?"

"You're so predictable Pops" she rolled her eyes.

"Alright, guardians! Let's go!" I said as we all headed fot the lift. Once we we're all in, Paine pressed the button for the deck. When the lift reached the deck and the doors opened everyone stepped out, except me.

Auron turned "Yuna?"

I looked up "I'll be back in a minute. You all wait here" I said and quickly pressed another button before anyone could say anything.

When the doors opened I ran out of the lift "Tetsuna! Tetsuna?"

"Over here" she called, and I went to her.

"How do you feel?"

"Better, I guess"

"Think you've got some more fight in you?"

"Do I ever!" she said jumping up.

I laughed "Alright, let's go!"

Tetsuna grabbed her staff and be both headed for the elevator. Once in, we pressed the button for the deck and it headed straight there. We both stepped out. I nodded to everyone and we all headed out onto the deck.

"Oh my..." I trailed off.

"Is that what I think it is?" Rikku gasped.

"Hmph. So it is true" came Auron's voice.

I pressed a node on my garment grid and changed to my Summoner outfit.

"Holy Gloganspeal Ifrit! What is that?!" I said staring at the huge monstrosity.

"Sin Spawn,"

"Sin Spawn," Yuna and Auron said in unison. I looked at them both as they stared at it calmly.

"Then that means," They both nodded towards it. "Right then, this is target practice!" I smiled spinning my stick in one hand and calmly approaching the monster. "Auron, protect Yuna while she summons, I'll distract flying dude here. I guess Valefor will have to do, Yuna...besides he's a flyer!" I smiled at her, and nodded to Auron. Then I turned to it.

It's wings spanned the entire ship almost. It had huge eyes, and huge teeth to match, which protruded from its mouth. The head was beak shaped and I could have sworn I'd read about this monster somewhere. Whatever it was, it was ugly and dangerous. As I continued walking, the monster looked at me wearily, as if it was unsure as to attack or to eat me. Its saliva was dripping onto the bridge and made me want to urge. I thought back to black mage tutorials and tried to think back to what element would affect this monster most. "Flyers...hate...lightning!" I spun my stick in one hand and summoned the clouds. "Lightning!" A bolt hit my stick and sent electricity channeling through my whole body. With that I pointed my hand at the monster and screamed. The lightning shot out of my hand and careened towards the sinspawn. It hit the monster square between the eyes. "Yes!" I shouted as it shook it's head. However, what came next was unexpected. The thing seemed to enjoy the lightning, as if it were enjoying it.

"It absorbs lightning Tetsuna!" I heard Auron say. Damn, I thought. I can't send any other elements that far, I'm not strong enough. My eyes narrowed as I stared at the death trap before me.

"I failed you...again.." I muttered.

Not quite yet, Tetsuna. Allow me to help! A bow and sheath full of arrows appeared at my feet. I raised an eyebrow and stared at them.

"Right..." I picked them up and placed the sheath around my shoulder so that it rested on my back. A light appeared on my garment grid which had the shape of a bow and arrow on it and almost immeadiately, my body became surrounded by light. As the metamorphis ended, I looked at myself. I was wearing the most revealing outfit ever, but I suddenly knew what I had to do. I pulled an arrow from my sheath and set it on the bow. I pulled as hard as I could and muttered an incantation. Suddenly, the arrow became engulfed in Ifrit's flames and was sent bolting towards the monster.

I saw Tetsuna's new weapons and outfit. "Very nice" I thought.

"Now Yuna" came Auron's voice.

I nodded, and my staff appeared in my hand. I began Summoning. I moved the staff around quickly, then, raising it up and pointing it to the ground, Valefor's symbol appeared beneath me. I looked up and saw her shooting through the clouds. As she flew down she saw the Sinspawn and immediately started going towards it...
