inkaschnauzer Posted June 3, 2007 Report Posted June 3, 2007 I would appreciate any suggestions as to why my game freezes at the beginning of Peru, Level 2 when the bear attacks Lara. It seems to happen after instructions as to how to perform adrenaline doges appear on the screen. Thanks Quote
Shrensh Posted June 3, 2007 Report Posted June 3, 2007 I think what you need to do is to follow the instruction that appears on the screen, because it may be waiting for a response from you. Try pressing left or right and roll/duck and see if that unfreezes the game. Quote
madmadmary Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 No, the game does freeze. It happened to me once or twice. I turned off and started again. Mary Quote
Shrensh Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 Come to think if it, that also happened to me a couple of times with the demo, but hasn't happened at all with the actual game, fortunately. In the demo the game completely locked up when Lara first encountered the wolves and the instructions flashed up, and wouldn't respond to any keys I pressed. I had to alt tab out of the game and end it using the Task Manager Quote
madmadmary Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 I'm playing on the PS3. The game also locked up in a very irritating place when I'd just got a relic! Mary Quote

Mary Ouch Mary, yours sounds like a disc fault! Or the update on the PS3 isn't quite compatible. If you have a PS2 it would be better if you play it on there, as sometimes under the update it will play but with noticeable issues on the PS3, also make sure that you update your PS3 as much as you can. I can't update mine as it isn't connected to the internet yet, so I've kept my PS2 just in case. Anyhow, hope it doesn't happen anymore! MsC Quote

MsC I have recently updated my PS3 although at the moment it's not linked to my home network as I've just changed that. I'll try that. I might play it again on the PS2 just to see if there is any difference although I'm informed that TRA is the first truly compatible game with PS3. Mary Quote
