Guest Fusion Posted June 18, 2007 Report Posted June 18, 2007 she keeps kicking to the right when running and cycling through her weapons and using the grapple and rolling all over the place worse is when she lets go of the ladder maybe its the controller (PS2) Quote
Dark Wizard Posted June 18, 2007 Report Posted June 18, 2007 Errmm...I'm not sure I follow you.... Quote
DarkAngel Posted June 18, 2007 Report Posted June 18, 2007 I think i nkow what you mean, but ive never had this happen to me on PS2. Do you have another controller you can try? See if you can borrow a friend's or something, cause i dont think its the game itself causing this. Quote

Guested Account Posted June 18, 2007 Report Posted June 18, 2007 no i dont have another controller. i should but 1 cause mine are ancient it was fine yesterday ? wiered. Oh and what i meant is when running forward she runs right abit and changes her weapons and spontaneously uses the grapple and rolls take your controller apart carefully, (the screws are on the bottom, you will need a tiny flat head screwdriver), clean everything off: dust, lint, dead skin and dirt that accumulates from the sweat of your hands (once your remove the cover) and then put it back together. Guest Fusion Posted June 18, 2007 Report Posted June 18, 2007 (edited) if you think it will work sounds fun anyway should i use something special or just kitchen roll to clean it? Edit: so far so good thanks j7 Edited June 18, 2007 by Fusion Quote
Guested Account Posted June 19, 2007 Report Posted June 19, 2007 use a DRY qtip and the tip of a paper clip, get all the stuff out of it from around the space between the buttons/analog sticks, dpad and the controller and anywhere you see dirt and grime and lint and dust, etc Quote
Tom@LCO Posted June 19, 2007 Report Posted June 19, 2007 might be that grab setting worth a shot. Quote
Ms.Croft Posted June 19, 2007 Report Posted June 19, 2007 I don't know if this is just on the Gamecube that I used to play, but if you ever held the analog stick to the right before turning the console on, the computer sets right as neutral and therefore neutral turns out to be left. Test it out. So basically, make sure that the analog stick is held in one direction all the way before you turn the console on and see if it makes a difference. It's not your controller, it's just the fact that the console 'sets' the analog every time you turn the console on. Hope that helped! MsC Quote
