Mike
Does anyone have tips for the Time Trails? Paticular levels? I don't think they give us enough time! In Legend, most levels where like 20 mins! I've beaten: Peru 6/27/07 The Coliseum
Boaz
I've done only Caves After i realised that in order to unlock something you have to complete a whole set of timetrials i was totally discouraged, lol... i could manage Vilcabamba, but no way for Lost Valley And about the Coliseum, has anyone managed to do it with that cheating tricks from the YouTube video? I tried but it didn't work for me

I just did it right through, had pleanty of time.

I'm leaving the Folly for last as it's so long although I have tried it a good few times. Mary

ImBatman
i done lost valley with more than a minute to spare yesterday, just dont mess up and fall down or something, plus you have to go the quick way to the top of the waterfall, by following the little passage where you pick up the first cog and jumping to grab a ledge by the waterfall, then make your way up to the top it saves a lot of time, i find the best way to do time tials is to go through the level, noting in ur mind places you dont need to go or things you dnt need to pick up, theres even sometimes switched you dnt need to pull that are just for if you fall down, all this saves time. and work out your route then do time trial and just dnt stop, that works really well for me. i done croft manor like that yesterday and had more than 3 minutes to spare! ive also done the first three levels il do quolopec later. madmadmary
In the Lost Valley collect the cog in the building by the dead TRex before getting the one at the top of the waterfall. When you reach the entrance to the Lost Valley you open a shortcut to the second cog which saves a huge amount of time. Also don't bother trying to kill the wolves. Ignore the first lot by drawing pistols and the forward somersaulting three times from the start of the level to the little step with the first of the cogs. By getting cog two last you can just about avoid the wolves on the return journey to the machinery. Oh and another tip for Midas. Don't try killing the gorillas in the room with the statue. If you immediately go to open the first door the gorillas won't come out of hiding. Jump off the balcony near to the statue and quickly get on the plinth. Get to the back and throw the switch at the back of the statue, then jump off the balcony very near to the door that you have just opened. Rush in and the gorillas won't chase you. When you emerge there will be no gorillas barring your way to the third switch. You can avoid killing the ones that meet you from the fire room if you run past and go straight for the golden hand. This saves an enourmous amount of time and no cheating. Mary

I saw a Trainer the other day; a Trainer is a small program you run after you started the game which changes the default settings of the game program allowing your game character to have unlimited ammo, all weapons, invincible, etc Google for it - it's somewhere on the net
Boaz
Ohhh, i can't be bothered anymore... i just get extremely frustrated for nothing! <_< In TRL i unlocked the unlimited health cheat i think after i had done almost (if not all) time trials... so what's the point? I might try again at some point, but i'm definitely not so keen on it anymore...

Laraman
J - why don't you play TRA with your girls? Get them started on TR now? =). As for Time Trials, the best tip is to learn the levels. After that it should be pretty easy. Granted that's not how I beat all the time trials, I just happen to be able to speed through levels when I want, LoL but it's a lot easier once you learn the levels and can do them pretty fast in the other difficulties. Also, you have all your weapons after you complete the game so if you're having difficulty you can always use more powerful guns to kill the enemies quicker. Oh, and adrenaline dodge is your friend. Boaz
Oh, and adrenaline dodge is your friend. Oh, right ok, i'll remember that when i have my third hand implanted! Oh well, good luck to everyone who has PS2 and a lot of patience... the rest of us can only have fun with screenshots of Lara's various deaths...
