This is week #7:

b722891006632704.jpg

All those teams that are 3-3 and 3-2 need to win and start pulling away.

The games to watch this week for me will be:

NO (4-1) vs BAL (4-2)
CIN (4-1) vs KC (5-1)
NE (4-1) vs CHI (3-2) Maybe CHI can hand NE their 2nd loss

Where did this kid come from?

A future Dan Marino, Joe Montana, Peyton Manning, John Elway?

This is week #8 of 17 weeks.

It's starting to give us a picture of who is moving ahead and who is stuck in the losing rut.

Week #10 of 17.

a025b11025180564.jpg

Tomorrow's Thursday Night Football match up between the 6-2 Carolina Panthers and 5-2-1 Pittsburgh Steelers looks like it maybe a slugfest of QBs!!

The Sunday afternoon game between the 7-1 New Orleans Saints and the 5-3 Cincinnati Bengals might be worth watching.

The rest of the games either seems either lopsided like the matchups between the 6-2 Los Angeles Chargers vs. the 1-7 Oakland Raiders or the 8-1 Kansas City Chiefs vs. the 2-6 Arizona Cardinals or the 8-1 Los Angeles Rams vs. the 4-4 Seattle Seahawks.

or they look trivial with teams that just can't get out of their below mediocre rut like the 2-7 Buffalo Bills vs. the 3-6 New York Jets; the 3-5 Jacksonville Jaguars vs. the 3-5 Indianapolis Colts or the Monday Night Football game between the 1-7 New York Giants and the 2-7 San Francisco 49ers

Thank you Tennesse Titans for murdering the New England Patriots.

Just further evidence that the Patriots can be beaten.

They (the Patriots) are like the Predator:

Both the Chiefs and the Rams get a bye week this week.

When they made the entire season schedule months ago for all teams, was this bye week already put in there?

No one would had known back then that both team will be 9-1 and that the MNF game will be a high scoring game.

I just wonder if the bye week was put in after last night game.

I find it too much of a coincidence they get a bye week.

This is this week's schedule with 3 games on Thursday, which is Thanksgiving Day for us here in the USA and it's a tradition to eat turkey and watch NFL football on that day.

Oh and it's also a tradition that the Dallas Cowboys and the Detroit Lions always play on Thanksgiving Day.

Here's why:

It's week 12 of 17.

After that exciting thrilling game on Monday, i don't think I can ever watch NFL football again.

I doubt any of the remaining games this week and the next 5 weeks will be as exciting as Monday night's game.

I can't believe the Houston Texans have now won 8 games in a row after starting the season at 0-3.

They are now 8-3.

This guy sucks.

89662e1050324924.jpg

He forced those passes in there when his receivers were double or triple covered.

2 of those INTs resulted in a Houston TD and a FG.

Houston up 23-0 at halftime.

Unless Cleveland performs a miracle comeback win during the upcoming 2nd half, it looks like Houston will be 9-3 after today.

Green Bay Packers fires head coach Mike McCarthy after the Packer's loss to the Arizona Cardinals today.

The same head coach that in 13 years, coached the Packers to 6 Division Championships, 1 NFC Championship and 1 Super Bowl win.

This is why I wouldn't coach any sports teams, professional or college, football, basketball, baseball, etc.

You win they love you.

You have one losing season and you are gone.

They never remember the good, always blow up the bad.

Not every season is going to be a winning season.

Not every game is going to be a win.

Someone has to win it and someone has to lose it and it's not always going to be your team.

This is the result of living in a country and society where we want and crave constant instant gratification!!

Pittsburgh sucks!

They had a 23-7 lead at halftime and they blew it.

30-30 with 3 seconds left in the game and the Chargers are attempting a 39 yard FG for the win.

The FG is no good and the game should go into overtime but the Steelers were offside so the Chargers get a free FG attempt.

Now it's a 34 yard FG attempt for the win and the FG is no good again and again the game should go into overtime but nope, the Steelers are offside again giving the Chargers another free FG attempt!

So now it's a 29 yard FG attempt for the win and the Steelers are offside again but it doesn't matter because the FG is good this time and the Chargers win.

Week #14 of 17:

4 weeks left including this week.

The start of the December home stretch to the end of the season.

64ce251053454024.jpg

For many teams who have a record of 5-7 or worse, it's win every game from now on if they even want to have a wild card spot.

For teams that have a record of 7-5 to 9-3, they are not out of the woods yet.

If they lose 3 to 4 games out of the next 4 games including this week's, they can still lose a playoff spot.

It's pretty much do or die for every team now if they want to hold on to their current playoff spot or secure a playoff spot.

The only team as of right now that has a guaranteed playoff spot are the Los Angeles Rams.

Even the other 3 teams in the Divisional rounds in the graphics below: the Patriots, the Chiefs and the Saints, can still fall from grace if they don't win most or all of their next 4 games.

I do like to see the Patriots fall into the wild card.

Go Miami!

Beat them Patriots!

Here's the crazy play that gave Miami the win over the Cheaters in the last seconds of the game.

Thank you, Miami!!

Week #15: 3 weeks left including this week.

c8d9511060951534.jpg

Tonight on Thursday night football, big AFC battle between the Los Angeles Chargers (10-3) and the Kansas City Chiefs (11-2).

Games to watch on Sunday and many of them may have wild card playoffs spots implications:

Cleveland Browns (5-7-1) at Denver Broncos (6-7);

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-8) at Baltimore Ravens (7-6);

Dallas Cowboys (8-5) at Indianapolis Colts (7-6): Go Cowboys!!

Miami Dolphins (7-6) at Minnesota Vikings (6-6-1);

New England Patriots (9-4) at Pittsburgh Steelers (7-5-1): Go Steelers!!

Tennesse Titans (7-6) at New York Giants (5-8): Go Giants!!

Monday night you have a game that the Carolina Panthers (6-7) must win against the New Orleans Saints (11-2) if they want to even have a chance at getting a Wild Card playoffs spot.

By the way, Sunday game with the Houston Texans (9-4) at New York Jets (4-9):

I swear! Houston better not undestimate the Jets or take them for granted and lose this one!!

Damn!

I wasn't expecting that.

The Los Angeles Chargers (10-3), down 28-14 in the 4th quarter, to score 2 TD in 4 minutes and then convert a 2 points conversion with 4 seconds left in the game to take the lead at 29-28 and beat the Kansas City Chiefs (11-2).

Now the AFC West is tied at 11-3 with the Chiefs and the Chargers and with this win, the Chargers have secured a playoff berth.

Dallas and New York Giants sucks!

Dallas is down 20-0 in the 4th quarter against the Indianapolis Colts.

Tennesse Titans is up 14-0 in the 4th quarter against the New York Giants.

I wanted both Dallas and New York Giants to win.

Why?

Houston Texans needed 3 things to happen to clinch a playoff berth and their division:

1. Houston must beat the New York Jets: DONE!

2. Dallas must beat the Colts.

3. Tennesse Titans must lose to the New York Giants!!

The Patriots just lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers 17-10. Tom Brady has not had a TD pass since the 3rd snap in the first quarter of the game. This is their 2nd loss of December losing to lesser teams. Counting this loss, they are now 9-5 with 2 weeks left in the season. Usually at this time of the season they are 13-1 or even still undefeated and have already clinched a first or second seed Divisional round playoffs berth: instead right now they have a wild card round which can change if they don't win the last 2 games of the season. I think the Patriots dynasty is coming to an end and I hope it will. Tired of these cheaters!!

I have never seen a 2 points conversion attempt intercepted by the defense and ran back to the other end zone before and all that work for only 2 points.

It doesn't count as a 6 points touchdown.

I also never heard of (from WIKI):

QUOTE:A fumble going out-of-bounds in the endzone being attacked results in the defending team assuming possession via touchback if the offensive team forced the ball into the endzone. If the defensive team forced the ball into the endzone it is a safety for the offense.

In 40+ years of watching NFL football, I have never seen that unless it's a recent new rule.

Week #16, next to last week of the season.

Teams that are In The Hunt need to win this week and next week and get some help from other teams if they want a Wild Card spot.

Teams that are in the Wild Card round or Divisional round need to win this week and last week and also get some help from other teams if they want to keep those spots.

Teams that are not shown in any of those 3 categories: In The Hunt, Wild Card, Divisional Round, give it up.

If whoever you are playing this week or next week falls under those 3 categories, just let them win.

Even if you do win those last 2 games, you still won't make the playoffs and you will still end the year with a losing season and you will still be losers so why even bother to try to win and make it harder for the other teams?

EXCEPT for the Bills this week and the Jets next week. Both of those losing teams need to win this week and next week against the Patriots so they can end the season at 9-7.
