Tom@LCO
I like Star Wars but I'm mostly a Trekkie so I really don't care if I see it or not. I do want to see the movie coming out though.
Guested Account
And here we go again with the Han Solo shoot first and not shoot first scene. https://www.theverge.com/2019/11/12/20961173/disney-plus-star-wars-han-solo-greedo-new-hope-edit-george-lucas
Tom@LCO
What do you call that? Creative Licence? I guess he didn't want to make Han to be a scoundrel after all and edited for the alien to shoot first.

Then when I copy and repaste them, same result. I had to copy and repaste them as Plain Text to get them to work. Why does it do that? Tom@LCO
Very cool! I have both versions and I like them either way. I can watch A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back and Return Of The Jedi and call it day.
Guested Account
You need to catch the Despecialized versions. They are on torrent and they are actually Lucasfilm approved and they won't fall under the copyright pirating laws for getting them.
Guested Account
Just watch episode 2 of Mandalorian. It's a little bit better than first episode but still not enough for me to give it 1 stars out of 5. Guess I will force myself to endure another episode next Friday. Guested Account
Episode 3 is available on Disney now. One thing about these Mandalorian episodes with Disney. When they say Friday, it's Friday. When that clock strikes morning, the start of a business day, 9 am, the episode is online. It's not like episodes of other series on the other TV and Cable channels, when they say the next new episode is on Friday, you have to wait until primetime your local time: 7 pm, 8 pm, 9 pm, 10 pm before you can see it. Even with that, it may be subject to broadcast delay: some sports event before it ran too long or some big breaking news took over the entire broadcast day or sometimes it just doesn't get broadcast as scheduled with no explanation whatsoever given and also with no information on when it will be broadcast. Tom@LCO
They aren't very long either and the credits soak up 5 minutes.
Guested Account
Found this while looking for more info on the Child. I've seen E01 several times and never noticed it. The child is 50 years old. How many years between E01 and Return of the Jedi? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8FaS6nZ_AI
Tom@LCO
Good question. Yoda was 900. They don't say it is Yoda. People just call him Baby Yoda.
Guested Account
I meant the female Yoda creature in the YouTube video of Episode 1 got together with Yoda and made Baby Yoda.

Guested Account
Today's episode of The Mandalorian is great and with a longer 37 1/2 minutes running time, not counting ending credits.
Tom@LCO
That was a good one. I can't believe 8 episodes is considered a season.
Guested Account
Season 2 has been ordered. I bet they going to hit us with some big cliffhanger at the end of episode 8 with all the questions we had so far about The Child still unanswered and then we have to wait almost a year for it. Tom@LCO
Looking forward to Lost In Space season 2 next month.
Guested Account
I didn't watch the whole thing but I heard George Lucas didn't show up. If that is true, Why? He started a world wide phenomenon 42 1/2 plus years ago, he should be there for the finale.
Guested Account
Episode 7 of The Mandalorian will be available tonight after midnight Pacific time instead of the usual Friday release day because of Star Wars Episode 9 hitting theaters on Friday.
