Disney buys out Lucasfilm, the Star Wars Franchise and George Lucas for $4 Billion!!

I saw it today and I thought it was great. I love how all the other movies somehow blend together and it's just the same old stuff all over again.

The effects are amazing and whoever wrote it knew how to pack a lot of stuff into a little over 2 hours.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017)

Because there are folks who hasn't seen it, I am not posting a detailed review saying what I think everything that's wrong with this movie.

In due time, in a couple of weeks or so, when the hoopla has died down and most everyone had a chance to watch it in theaters, then I will post a detailed review.

For now, all I can say is I give it 1/5 and a NO, I can't recommend it even to the Star Wars Fanboys and Fangirls who just want to see anything new with a Star Wars label on it.

Ron Howard directed this?

He ruined the Dan Brown Robert Langdon books when he made 3 of them into movies:

The Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons, Inferno.

They were awful.

:angry2:

What with the Empire's fascination of the deep dark abyss?

Poor design, lazy engineers and architects, or both ?!?

Star Wars 1977:

The Return Of The Jedi:

The Force Awakens:

Rogue ONE:

Also who is the moron that came up with the smart idea to built a long narrow gangway perched across a wide opening over-looking a drop into the deep abyss below and then not put any protective railings on both sides of it nor afford it with enough lightning for safety?

These are just the ones I can remember off the top of my head and I didn't even go look for anything similar in the prequel trilogy.

I didn't include the abyss Luke dropped into, after losing his fight to Vader in The Empire Strikes Back, because that was Cloud City and it was not built by the Empire.

Watching The Dam Busters.

The story about this for those who are not World War II experts:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Chastise

George Lucas admitted he used this movie as inspiration for the Star Wars Death Star Trench run.

He is an unoriginal hack.

He even stole the dialogue from it.

It's not going to be special anymore with so much of it.

Ain't that the truth!

I had to go online and search "Rise of Skywalker" voice over to find what it was being said.

It's Luke's voice.

It didn't even sound like him.

Not once during the entire trailer did I think:

hey, that's Luke that's talking!

I want one of those blasters and two of those Stormtroopers armor uniform!!

But honestly, what are those Stormtroopers armor uniforms for?

In the movies, a blast from a blaster and they are down.

Those stormtroopers armor don't seem to be good at stopping anything.
