Extra Life Charity Videogame Marathon - Nov 2

Hey, everybody. In case you missed Meagan's announcements in the Crystal Habit Monthly, a bunch of us fans are getting together for the Extra Life marathon to play games and raise money for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

If you'd like to help, it's not too late. Here's an FAQ about the event, and here's where you can sign on and join Team Tomb Raider Community.

If fund-raising is not your thing, you can still help out in several important ways:

• Make a donation through any of our team members. Each gamer is playing in support of a different children's hospital, from Los Angeles to Boston, so go here and click on each team member's name to see what they're up to. Most of these hospitals serve patients from around the world, not just the U.S., and even a few dollars can help make a difference for a sick child.
• Spread the word. If you know other gamers who might want to play or donate, let them know.
• If you have a website or blog, post an announcement, like these by The Archaeology of Tomb Raider, Lara's Tomb, and The Official Tomb Raider Blog.
• Tune in November 2-3 for our Extra Life marathon livestream on Livestream.com. We'll be streaming some live Tomb Raider and other games, chatting with friends and special guests, and generally having a blast. I might even broadcast my first attempt at TR multiplayer. You definitely wouldn't want to miss that epic fail.
• If you do Let's Plays or livestreaming yourself, we'd love to have you play on the livestream. The more players, the better.

Thanks to a generous donation from Crystal Dynamics, we are also auctioning this LIMITED-EDITION TOMB RAIDER BRANDED XBOX 360 BUNDLE. It includes a customized console, plus a Tomb Raider Collector's Edition boxed set, featuring the 8-inch Lara Croft action figure from Play Arts Kai.

The console and game are NTSC/North America region encoded, and the auction includes free shipping to the U.S., Canada or Mexico.
