jedicri
My brother has just completed his upgrade on his new computer, the final piece of hardware being Nvidia's latest flag ship card GeForce 8800 series. He bought the GTS version (GTX is the higher one) to complement his Conroe cpu Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4 GHz and 2 gigs of RAM. Playing on the Next Generation Content on is silky smooth and beautiful to look at especially when playing on a widescreen monitor. I can't wait to upgrade soon myself! (Oblivion will be a marvel to look at. It's the best looking game bar none in 2006)

jedicri
I agree it looks better but most here thinks Lara looks too green and she looks like a Frog!! That's too bad. Legend looks more polished with SM 3.0, as with the heroine and the world around her. I feel more immersed in the game and the environment that corresponds to it. (I've also tried Oblivion and all I can say is "Wow!". Going to try F.E.A.R. next followed by its expansion F.E.A.R.: Extraction Point)
UltraLara
I think TRL with next gen looks amazing!!! But unfortunatly it should look better! When Core-D made the first next gen, it looked better. Now, most of the stuff were removed. No idea why tho. Here 2 screenshots from the TRL with next gen, gameplay. jedicri
I've forgotten about this thread. Anyway, I'm resurrecting this old thread back only because I've finally upgraded by computer --- 7 months later when I first mentioned it in this particular thread; and having started TR: Anniversary has prompted me to simultaneously play TR: Legend but this time, with the Next Generation video option on. I've forgotten how beautiful the latter game looks with this option on! Raiding on! BTW, nice screenshots there UltraLara!
