Guested Account
https://www.thelocal.it/20180906/italy-first-starbucks-opens-in-milan https://uk.reuters.com/article/us-starbucks-italy/starbucks-italian-dream-comes-true-but-it-is-not-cheap-idUKKCN1LM0G2 Don't mess with our Cappuccino and Espresso!! We don't want your Americanized coffee flavored dish washing water !! I seen them (the clerks at Starbucks) make Espresso and Cappuccino. They don't press the coffee ground into the porta filter hard enough and tight enough. With Starbucks it's all about speed and how many order they can fill in one minute. If you have no idea what I am referring to: https://drinks.seriouseats.com/2012/07/coffee-tools-the-espresso-tamper-how-to-tamp-correctly-barista-tips.html I was making Cappuccino and Espresso at my Father's Restaurant and Coffee shop when I was 10 years old in 1975 in Italy. Most of the idiots who work at Starbucks right now at their 25,000 stores in 78 countries were not born yet or were still in diapers. HELL! Them morons at Starbucks can't even put a decent thick milk foam on a Cappuccino!! That takes time and skills and as I've said, at Starbucks is all about speed and filling orders: quantity comes before quality!! Good quality coffee is served in a ceramic cup, not in a ducking styrofoam or cardboard cup. Furthermore anything of quality worth having takes time and care and skills to prepare. Coffee that is in your hand less than 2 minutes after you've placed your order was prepared without any time and care and skills. It's over priced mud water !!
