Every time i turn of my computer, i keep getting several "Program Not Responding" windows. I can't Remember what they are called. But is there any way to fix it?

It would depend on what programmes are causing the trouble. Try making a note of what programmes are causing the problem next time you shut down.

I've had this same problem before when I was infected with spyware and adware, although it could be something legitimate that's running in the background. It does sound suspicious though. Make sure that all programmes are closed before turning off. Scan your system in case you've picked up some spyware or adware from somewhere.

If you have no anti-spyware or anti-adware programmes, might I suggest that you download, update and run Ad-Aware and Spybot Search & Destroy.

I too have had this problem. With my computer it was a combination of viruses and spyware along with legitimate programs that were not turned off...try running windows defender for free from microsoft or adaware se personal...these two antispyware programs work for me.

i agree with the person above me saying to make sure all programs are officially off before you turn off the computer

Yea, now it doesn't come up anymore, nor does my computer function at all now. Had a virus so bad, it damaged my devices, though i have never heard of a virus doing that, Now just fighting with Dell to send me a new one, been waiting for a month now.
