I'm super psyched over this! The storyline seems very mysterious and the graphics are just too awesome. I've just finished DMC3 and just can't wait for the 4th!

I downloaded the demo tonight and it wasn't too bad. For what it was worth, I enjoyed it.

The demo gives you exactly 10 minutes to complete as much as possible within that time frame. Within this timeframe and depending on how far you get, you're introduced to different melee moves and whatnot. The fighting reminds me a lot of Bloodrayne come to think of it.

I'm going to do as much as possible so as to actually finish the demo --- otherwise, you have to start from the very beginning.

BTW, release date is on February 5/08.

i got up to the boss then it cut off. :[

I just played the demo at a friend's last weekend. I got almost up to the boss -- going to try again next time. The graphics are amazing -- some of them kind of remind me of FF graphics. I really enjoyed trying out the various button combos for attacks. It's my first time playing this series, and I think it'll be one of my first PS3 games.

I have it and it's really awesome, though one thing annoyed me a tiny bit.

If you don't like re-playing sections of a game again, then I wouldn't reccomend you buy it, as you kill the same bosses and explore the same areas as Dante after playing Nero.

I just saw Devil May Cry 3 in the store today. I know the graphics on PS2 don't compare to PS3, but it's like $15.00. Is it worth it? Since it's an "M" game, I'd be the only one playing it in the house, so I was wondering what you all thought.

If you are planning on eventually purchasing a PS3, I'd personally forego the PS2 version of DMC 4. This is not to say I've never double-dipped before --- I have, involving 2 games as a matter of fact. In the end, I simply traded in one game in favour for the other that was later released on my gaming platform of choice; in this case the games I referred to were Jade Empire and Gears of War.

I guess in the end, it depends on how badly you want to play DMC 4 particularly when it's sellling at that price point. It is quite tempting to be sure.

Awww, the wait until the PC version comes out is just killing me....

I've always said that graphics don't matter as much as the storyline, so playing DMC3 on the PS2 isn't probably gonna be that bad..
