i personally feel the first was the best. yeah the graphics were a joke, but it was so amazing to actually be in an actual flourishing tomb enviroment. part 2 was great but there were TOO many guys and man made structures. 3 brought in some more wildlife but still there was less tombs. 4 was great but people were getting tired of tomb raider by then. 5 completley ruined the series. 6 was almost as worse. ppl have forgotten the simple fact that lara croft is out in tombs trying to find an atifact. 7 got it back on track.

Ok and well I really liked playing: TR1, TR: The Last Revelation, AOD, and Legend.

TombraiderII was the best 4 me only because it took soooo long to play,I hope they make that a remake

the first one is best, it was so original, had the best story and characters people stil remember today. to my knowledge it was the first ever game you could swim in, and it was all about raiding tombs. i liked the 4th second although it had its flaws. i havent played chronicles i dont see the point, and i havent played much of aod because it was crap i didnt like it at all so thats probly the worst one.

TR 2 for me. If I had played TR1 .... probably things would be different now.

But until then, it's TR2 because it was the first TR I had, and let's face it- it has a dragon, a surreal level, temples, Venice etc. No one can deny it's awesome

TR 2 for me. My first TR game I had and played. I also like Legend, AOD & TR 3

i don't know why but TR3 still stays my fav, but Legend was great aswell.

Umm... no. How could the graphics have been a joke then when you're comparing them to games that didn't exist at the time? Like Mike said, the graphics were pretty amazing for their time. I think perhaps you mean "The graphics are a joke", although you shouldn't go about comparing games released in 1996 with games released in 2007.

Oh, and Mike said that 1994 and 1995 was when Core were working on the game, not when it was released.

the graphics werent a joke then, when games before it were ones like sonic and mortal kombat. and theyre not a joke now core acheived a lot with the technology at the time.

plus why cant people contradict you? everyone has their own opinions which arent always gonna be the same as yours so dont say such stupid things when someone doesnt agree with you
