I like creating characters. I also liked modifying the canon characters in the game, like hair and clothing and stuff. Good times. Just the game on SC3 was so agrivating for me... ARG! I never did beat that game, so frustrating, more frustrating that ALPHA on DOA4!!!

Yes, as did Link in the Nintendo version, but that seemed less random as they were generally the 'heroes' apparantely of that particular console...well, not Spawn, that was random.

I rented the 360 version of SC IV (wanted to play as Yoda ). I'm going through the story mode for each character (i've already unlocked some characters) and have yet to try out the other bonus features.

For the life of me, I cannot achieve the critical finishes! I press 'L1' when their bar is flashing red, but all my characters do is make a weird move and then shake their head...beginning to annoy me

Hello Ms.Croft ...

- "Single Player Modes" then "Training"

- Pick the characters and stage ect.

- Ok, once the training starts go to the menu.

- Go down to "Soul Gauge/Display Settings"

- Set the Soul Gauge to MAX and set the enemys gauge to EMPTY close menu.

- Go to "Training Type" and select "Command Playback" and close menu.

- Ok back to the training .....

- Press "Select and O (circle)" to controll the enemy. Make the enemy guard for about 5 secons maybe 7 so that you have time to practice the attack. When you are done press "Select" again to stop recording.

- Now, Press "Select and X" once you see the enemy Guard, break his/her guard and rapidly start taping L1 until the scene comes.

Remember: Enemy has to be flashing red, and yours has to be flashing white to perform the attack. Once you done a few of them you get the hang of it. Sometimes it's hard tho or like you said annoying.

You HAVE to see tiras and zasalamels they are pretty cool I like darth vaters its awsome. I'm trying to do Tower Of Souls but im stuck in "Uber Airhead" that's the name of the stage boss battle: Cassandra grrrr, and some of the treasures are hard to get.

The manual does not explain that you have to break their guard, it just says press L1 when they're in soul crush condition.

Also Purple, I realised that you don't have to be flashing white to perform the move, you just have to have the enemy flashing red. The white flashing is for performing their special skills with the R2 button, Taki's is invisibility for example.

Ok so still trying to beat Tower Of Souls, I'm in floors: 57 - 59 and Floor 58 is hard, cause of cervantes, so when I get frustrated I go to character creation and have fun lolz.

Hey Morphy! *hUgZ*

Well, I know what you mean, Zasalamel is a pain in the ash! I hate fighting him >.<, but...Well you need a alot of life, more than just a bar, since it is possible to get it to 2 bars I would highly recommend customizing whetever character you are best at get it to very good high stats.

First, make sure your character is at the highest level which is 9, and this makes it easier when you are setting the 'Skill Setings'

Then, go to the 'Character Creation' and start using Equipment that increases Attack, Defense, and HP (don't worry about how your character will end up looking lol it's just about getting the mission done). Try not to use equipment that that will take away points either, so just take your time deciding which piece of equipment would boost up the stats the best.

Once you are done setting the equipment, now pick the weapon that will boos up ur stats even more.

After that, just go set the skills and since your character will be at level 9 you should have no problem picking Here are the skills that I find useful...

-Start Dash

-HP Drain

-Shave Damage

-Impact Heal

And maybe for like the Special skill if you have enough points left pick something like: Auto Grapple Break or a Nullify Ring Out.

After that, you should be ready to go.

Note: Trainning is also good before starting even if you think you know all of ur characters moves.

I actually also just re-played that Floor, and I got alot of Ring Outs, so maybe that will help also because you wil loose less HP and by the time you get to Zasalamel you will still have a good amount of it.

Remember to Block to with Zasalamel cause he has pretty strong attack powers.

Well hope I helped in some way and I did actually cleared all floors before too. Floor 45 to 46 (King of the Physical Realm) is a pain in the ash, and also floors 57 to 59 (Envoy of Destruction) is difficult. Those were the ones I had the hardest time beating.
