A South Korean man, identified only by his family name, Suh, was found dead at his work, in a quarry, 85 miles south of Seoul. "We presume that the cell phone battery exploded," a police official said.

The cell phone battery was found melted in his shirt pocket. LG Electronics confirmed that the phone and battery were their product, but say a battery explosion and death are just about impossible.

LG cant say this is near impossible because does happen, All batteries can explode if they leak or they are placed in fire or extreme heat...

I always thought LG had a very good quality for all of their products
