I've been playing Tomb Raider 2 for some time now up until level 13

( Catacombs Of Talion ).

When I run through the hallway to go to level 14 ( Ice Palace ) I get the

usual time etc. statics and I press 'enter'.

When I do that the game craches and I get this error message:

FATAL: Level 14 (D:\data\icecave.tr2) recuires a new TOMB2.EXE (version 134308) to run

Can someone please help me?

The first thing you can try, if you're using Windows XP, is to put the game in compatibility mode. Right-click on the shortcut you use to launch the game (you can use the one on the start menu), and choose "Properties" from the menu that comes up. Click on the "Compatibility" tab, tick "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and choose "Windows 98 / Windows ME". Then click OK.

I am replaying tomb raider 2 again and i cant believe i forgot how fun it was!! Although, some levels are difficult!!
