Please I have a problem with Tomb Raider one of the Top customs Level

Featured Replies

I have downloaded a new tomb raider custom levels in www.trle.net the Titak-HimalayanMysteries levels. I just started playing it and its working normally, but when I save the game, the game close (End now) and not saving like there is a problem, but all the tomb raider games that I have downloaded them saves normally except this one, please tell me what should I do to let the game be saved? I am going to write for you the important information file for this custome level.

IMPORTANT SAVEGAME INFORMATION

During the beta-testing process it was found that saving a game DURING certain animations became

‘fatal’ if the game was reloaded at those points.

(The game could not be continued because the animation had been interrupted,

so what was supposed to happen did NOT happen.) This was ALWAYS true if the animation of using

a key in a keyhole was interrupted in this way. (The known key/keyhole bug.)

This also happened, however, with another particular animation

(done 4 times in quick succession in one place), while there were

2 other separate animations which, if interrupted, were not recognised by

the program as having been performed, though these last 2 were not ‘fatal’,

and merely had to be repeated.

Advice, therefore:

(1)

NEVER save DURING any animation that involves using a key.

The save itself is not the problem, but if the game is reloaded at that point,

the ‘action’ that the key performs will NOT happen (a door will NOT open, eg).

If you wish to save here, then save AFTER the door (or whatever) HAS been opened.

(2)

It is probably better to make this a general policy, NOT to save until the ‘effect’

of any animation is COMPLETED. If it is ever not clear that an animation IS completed

(if a picture stays on the screen and does not return to Lara, eg), then try the ‘look’ key,

to ‘break’ an animation that SEEMS to have finished.

So that means the is a problem in my computer or this game program? And what should I do to let the game be saved and thank you guys for helping :)

Do you have a "Save" folder in the Himalayan Mysteries folder? Some levels, mostly the ones utilizing TREP, do not create a "save" folder automatically and therefor have problems saving.

I think mine came with a "save" folder automatically, though....
