I am very happy. After about five years I have finally completed Tomb Raider AOD. For about a year and a bit I had been stuck on the Boaz Returns boss level where you play as Kurtis and always got frustrated but today I pushed myself constantly to beat the boss and did.

The next level is one of my gavs of TRAOD... I love the flying jump... I think it is so cool... LOL

Anyways what I was wondering does anyone think that the Boaz Returns boss is harder than the final bosses?

The Boaz Returns boss I died I don't know how many times and the final bosses I never died.

I definitely found Boaz to be more difficult than Eckhardt and Karel. I was just about tearing my hair out trying to defeat Boaz, even after looking up what I had to do in a walkthrough, but I defeated the final two without even dying once. Of course, the wonky targeting system didn't help in the least, the distinct lack of ammunition and health packs in Boaz Returns made life quite difficult, and why oh why couldn't Kurtis sprint...

I didn't like the first form of Boaz, and I agree about Kurtis being too slow. As for the second form (the winged creature), I found that one to be a lot easier...all I had to do was just shoot at it until the thing fell down and it went to a cutscene. Eckhardt was a pushover compared to Boaz

I actually played Boaz and never died. Lol

Thats not fair... Why did you get off so lucky?!! LOL

I killed Boaz in my first try too, though I can imagine why a lot of people had difficulty, given that Kurtis likes to believe he's a dazed ape rather than a, you know. Grown man who engages in regular exercise.

Also, I played the game on PS2 but recently I gave the PC version a shot and it's much more difficult to control Lara and Kurtis. I don't think I would've found the battle so easy if I'd played it on the PC.

Even still, I do agree that Eckhardt and Karel were a whole lot easier than Boaz or even the Red Ghost.
