Just wanted to share these scans from my copy of EB Games/GameStop's GameInformer magazine that I got today:

Thanks AJ! Early reports are looking extremely good for Underworld, and Lara's looking better than ever. This game's going to be fantastic! The animation pictures make me even more desperate than before to see the game in action.

how am I supposed to feel about this Spherical Harmonics thing? Is this the equivalent of turning up the contrast or is it a PLS or is it just a realism thing that happens to brighten the game? cause its raining in the screenshot but it makes the game look sunny :S

She really does look like she moves realistically.

Im sure they did a wonderful job.

Im sure that will even make a first person shooter gamer drool for tomb raider.

He played Anniversary and he said he is getting the hang of it.

You're welcome. I can't take credit for the nice scans, I asked my hubby to scan & give me the file, lol. I agree, Fusion, the spherical harmonics puzzles me, too. Maybe it's similar to adjusting the gamma levels in the old PC TR games, but more intense?

If you dont want to be inundated in formulas (i've only just woke up ) DO NOT use wikipedia to find out about spherical harmonics. The only words i understood were indirect lighting and recognition of 3d shapes

judging by the picture i'd say it makes objects appear 3d by using light to cast behind or infront of the object or something to that efect

I saw that last night at the store and was going to post it but you saved me the trouble.

It is obvious they do read the forums since she can now use non-lethal tranquilizers. Judging from what i read in that it seems like they are outdoing themselves on this.Then again that is not necessarily a bad thing.
