Other than alone in the dark and resident evil, I am searching for a game exactly as Silent Hill, a very very horror game, please and other than resident evil and alone in the dark. Resident Evil is a nice game but i liked the third part in PS1, thats my best part other than any other part in PS1,2 and 3, Alone in the dark, didn't see it as a horror movie, its a duisgusting game and wish that didn't buy it before YUK!! Its hard to find a horror game that lookslike SH, but maybe you know some, I think that Silent Hill is the best horror game in all over the game universe!!

I guess you're into psychological horror? Less monsters jumping out, more of a general feel of unease, like the Silent Hill games have versus the RE series.

Anyway, if that's the case, I've heard good things about Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem for the Gamecube. MobyGames doesn't show any ports of the thing, so I guess you'll be out of luck if you don't have a GC.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, if you really want a SH clone, check out Siren for the PS2. (and I think it may have been ported to PC)

It even has the desnse gray fog and freaky cult people!

From videos I've seen, it looks to have a nonlinear plot, meaning that it doesn't go "ABCDE" rather "BDACE". It even skips entire days of the plot at times!

I have a suggestion for a game, look for Haunting Ground for the PS2. It has its scary elements and its not quite as bloody as the Resident Evil games. Although if the idea of having psychotic characters chasing your character isn't your kind of game then avoid it. I enjoyed the game when I played it.
