My friend just bought the Tomb Raider Chronicles game for PC, and when he tried to install it onto his computer, it said that it was already installed, even though he has never had it before.

After that, he tried playing it and it wouldn't start. It keeps closing out of it. And he said it's not in the add and remove programs thing. He was going to uninstall it and reinstall but it won't let him.

How very peculiar. Does anyone have ideas...? This is rather strange.

That's strange. I've heard of that problem before, but only after the game has been installed previously and not uninstalled properly.

He could try downloading the programme Trrc.exe from this page (in the Utilities section bottom right). It'll clear out any traces of the game that there might be sitting in the registry. It'll do the same for any other TR game he has installed though.
