One of many games I'm looking forward to. Based on what I've seen and read, this looks to be a winner (unlike the dumbed-down-for-console sequel to Deus EX, Deus Ex: Invisible War which I started but never finished). I hope, like the first game, there will be 4 to 5 multiple different endings depending on the choices you've made during the game.

A tweet from Eidos Montreal has confirmed that Deus Ex: Human Revolution will be released on August 23 in the US, and August 26 in the UK. The developer's statement comes after the dates were posted online, and later confirmed by UK retailer GAME in a statement to Eurogamer.

Human Revolution was originally scheduled for release before the end of this month, but Square Enix announced in December that the title would be delayed to allow Eidos Montreal to "further polish" it.

At least it isn't a long delay, and if you're lucky enough to be at PAX East this weekend, Eidos will be running a 20-minute live demo of the game, followed by a 20-minute developer Q&A. We'll have more on what to expect from PAX later today.

A movie adaptation of Deus Ex: Human Revolution is being planned by Square Enix and CBS Films, which has secured film rights to the franchise.

On a related note: although it was not readily accepted, I did enjoy the movie adaptation of Hitman

I hope so too, Human Revolution is a masterpiece really/

I love the Hitman movie, Timothy Olyphant was great as 47 and it was a smart plot, like you'd expect from 47, lol. I would love to see a second instalment.
