Final Fantasy X has been officially announced as a high definition release for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita systems.

This year marks Final Fantasy X's ten year anniversary, and it still stands as one of the greatest Final Fantasy games.

No media was shown by Square Enix regarding the makeover of the game, so we can assume it's in early days, or they're making it look even more beautiful than it did ten years ago, and want to keep it under wraps.

It's still unknown as to wether Final Fantasy X-2 will be bundled with it, although that would be fantastic!

Even better would be if it's Final Fantasy X-2 International & Last Mission, with the Eternal Calm video.

I'm really looking forward to this, I'll be buying it day one.

This is definitely good news for the long standing franchise. I hope that Square-enix will look next to make Final Fantasy 7 in HD as well:

Now when i do get a PS3 i'll have two games to play on it, Tomb Raider and Final Fantasy X.

Final Fantasy VII is also available in the PlayStation Store as a PSOne Classic.
