That's right, coming in 2012 is the South Park RPG. This will not be like the old cash grab South Park games that Activision made, no no no, Trey Parker and Matt Stone themselves have taken the front seats on this one. In South Park, you'll take control of "the new kid" in town, and it'll be your mission to make new friends and survive.

LOL! This sounds awesome. I used to love the show, but I haven't liked the last couple of seasons (though I haven't watched for 2 years now). This game certainly has potential.

I've seen every episode ever created, and own the first thirteen seasons!

The game has fantastic potential, and you just know that with Trey and Matt involved it's gonna be awesome!

South Park - The RPG is now South Park: The Stick of Truth and will be launched on March 5th, 2013, as revealed in the trailer shown at E3. Same day as Tomb Raider!!

The release date of South Park: The Stick of truth has been moved from March 5th 2013 to 'Early Fiscal'. This means the release will be sometime between April and July.

THQ, publisher of the game, has revealed they are looking for a buyer after a 21 million dollar loss in a three month period.

South Park is still pencilled for an early fiscal release -- let's just hope this doesn't put the game in any danger, because it has great potential and could most likely pick the company up again.

After confirmation that they were officially closing their doors, THQ was ordered to auction off all of their assets in a bankruptcy sale.

If rumours are to be believed, publisher Ubisoft has successfully bid for the rights to South Park: The Stick of Truth.

However, this has sparked a dispute between THQ and it's licensor South Park Studios -- THQ claims that they have the right to sell a licence that it has previously acquired, South Park Studios argues that THQ do not have the right to sell something that they do not wholly own as were only granted a licence to the product, not ownership.
