Franchise fans know that exploration is at the heart of a Tomb Raider experience. Walking in to a massive expanse and feeling a sense of isolation and awe are key to Lara’s adventures, as is ultimately working through how you’ll traverse and conquer said space.

Continuing the series, Guide to Survival Episode 2 breaks down the means by which Lara can explore the island to its fullest, detailing the basecamp and gear gating mechanics.

Lara will need to take advantage of weapons and upgrades to fully raid tombs, survive dangerous river crossings, climb to incredible heights, and scale sheer rock faces. Revisiting areas will allow Lara to collect hard-to-reach salvage, build up extra XP, and uncover the mystery of the island through journals and long-forgotten artifacts.
