I was never one for zombies in games but the manner in which Naughty Dog incorporated these into the larger context of this game where story is paramount, will no doubt make me go out and buy this game.

Any one else get a hold of this yet, and if so, what are your (initial) impressions of it thus far?

I bought it a few days ago, and i have to say this game draws you in from the start. I for one like the survival horror, this game is right up there with Resident Evil and Silent Hill (two of my favorites). Anyone that likes the games i mentioned will want this game in their collection.

The Last of Us is one of the greatest games I have ever played.

The story hooks you from the start and when it ends you're left wanting more.

The environments, even though deadly, are beautiful.

The entire cast is brilliant, Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson give fantastic performances.

I can't really praise this game enough, it's a masterpiece and truly deserves all those 10 out of 10's.

Is this a game worth buying? I get Game Informer and they praise it, but I am hesitant to get new games because I can't afford to get a game that I don't like.

A Co-Worker has the last of us as his desktop wallpaper and loves the game. Coming from him it means it's a good game lol.

It really is a fantastic game. I loved it, and other people I know who have played it say it's one of the best they've experienced.

Finally got me a copy and started playing it. I'm still early on in (passed the part where Tess is.......)

But that intro beginning really gets you from the get-go doesn't it?

Yeah the intro does that for sure.

I have made to to the part where Joel and Ellie meet Bill. I probably still got a long way to go though.
