Why is there so much anger about outfits and DLC 8?

I came across a Facebook post about outfit restrictions and the mysterious 'Coming soon' tomb/DLC8 and I don't understand why people are getting so worked up. Have I missed something here?

I thought that finishing the game, as I have, lifted that outfit restriction and yes, I also noticed the coming soon slot. Some forums are almost melting down on both of these subjects, with many posters saying they've had it with SOTTR.

Pardon me?

Kotaku answers both these questions, with the outfit restriction being lifted in the Definitive Edition, apparently.

    I think they originally wanted to have an 8th level but they were overwhelmed with the 2nd IP getting out "Avengers".

    The new outfit called the fitness outfit is similar to the outfit worn during the training level of Tomb Raider One. So I've heard.
