I’m literally stuck. I need to move the smaller pillar 90 degrees clockwise. So I hitch it up to the larger pillar using the rope, then go up to the larger pillar and push.

That’s when I discover that I can’t move it in either direction. Lara gets half-way, then seems to run out of puff — either way, she can’t move any more.

Anyone else seen this problem?

OK. So I gave up at that point, and did something else instead. Tried again today, and it had reset itself to the original start position. Followed Stella's instructions, and got through. Still weird, though. Not sure if it's a bug or intentional.

Sounds like a bug to me. Sorry I didn't see your post until this morning. I would have suggested reloading, reverting to an earlier save, or trying a save file from my site. Replying anyway just to let you know I saw this and to drop the save file link for anyone who might be googling this same issue later on. Glad it worked out.

Thanks. By the time I wrote the first note, I was getting rather frustrated, and it was late at night, and I'd decided the developers were just being nasty. Later on I realised that it was probably a bug., and wondered if, when I went back to it, it would reload from a checkpoint, and it did.
Thank you for maintaining this site. I didn't discover TR (even the first one) until a couple of months ago. I've done the first two (with your help) and now enjoying this one.
