Mine was TR3, I couldn't get past "Lost City of Tinnos" for the longest time.

If you haven't done this before, you can check out some of the past group play threads here on the TR Legacy forum. It's more like parallel play than actual co-op, but it can be a fun way to share nostalgia about a classic game—or introduce friends to something they haven't played before.

So, how do we do this group play thing? There's no right or wrong way. Just fire up the game, play through at your own pace, and post about your progress, impressions, cool or funny things that happened, etc., in this thread. Include screenshots or video if you like. Share as much or as little as you like. Also, read/comment on what other players have posted.

If you like, you can set challenges for yourself. Then share your proud achievements—all secrets, no medipacks, fast completion time, slowest-ever completion time (that's me!), etc.

If this is your first time through TR4, please let the rest of us know. We'll try and keep spoilers to a minimum, and we'll gladly offer help if you need it. Likewise, if anyone needs help finding or installing the game, just ask.

The only firm guidelines we have are to be courteous, follow the forum rules, and HAVE FUN!

I didn't know about Tomb Raider until Tomb Raider 2 but I played the first after the 2nd.

I remember after finished the first I felt happy I finished and sad it was over.

My all time favorites are TR2 TR1 TR6 Legend and TR 2013.

Amazing it's lasted this long. I started the site at the beginning of Tomb Raider 5 and that

was 18 years ago. I hope they continue to improve it. 

Hey. I played Tomb Raider 1 100 times on the Saturn, the Playstation (1) and then the PC (with just a keyboard, the mouse, a VGA screen with no 3D card, and one speaker). Those guys in the video are not using the controller properly. They keep making her jump and also don't know how to keep it in 3rd person view. The graphics for Tomb Raider 1 in 1996 was way ahead of their time.

please guys there is an installment of tomb raider that i can't track from my childhood i hope i can find help in which one is it depending on what i remember from it :

1- I believe it was a picture level (a training level) .. i might be wrong

2- there were dinosaurs from the very beginning of the level and there was a tree house (House in trees to be more specific)

3- i believe I had no guns in the beginning

I tracked all the classics but couldn't run and try them myself on windows 7 , but descriptions and walkthrough didn't ring a bell on what i am looking for , it's like it never existed .. anyone please ?

WOW! Down to the last detail of the actual game level!

I played TR so many times I have every nook and cranny in that level memorized including some hard to reach places that I don't think the CORE game designers ever intended Lara to get up there.

I got Lara up to places in Tomb Raider 1 without using any cheats codes or trainers that most people never thought of ever getting her up there.

I am still looking for the answer to the same question I had when I finished playing TRLR 15 years ago.

What happened to Lara at the end?

How did she survive being trapped in the Temple of Horus to reappear later in Tomb Raider Angel Of Darkness?

Now, I don't want anyone to be excluded. If you don't have one of the games, or you don't want to play both...that is fine. You can still play with us and give your views about the game. I just thought this might be an interesting variation on the group play. It may also be nice for those players who always shoot ahead the rest of us--you know who you are! The people who play until their eyes bleed, I'm sure!

So, happy gaming! Don't worry if you post infrequently. I know a lot of people are busy. I'm busy too--and sometimes after looking at a computer all day, I don't really feel like looking at the TV screen.

I've just started to explore the websites and I found this, it must be an off-topic because its not talking about Lara only, you can find all your love famous characters, but one question, is Lara really 38 or younger?

I'm a new member and I quite recently started out my TR3 Ultimate Walkthrough Series that not only focuses on all secrets, pick-ups, maximum kills etc. but also includes various hints & tips and how-to sections that can help inexperienced players to get through the levels.

I'm thinking about livestreaming some AOD gameplay with chat alongside. That worked well for the Extra Life marathon I organized a while back, and people seemed to have fun. Whoever wants to play would be welcome, and people who can't or don't want to stream for whatever reason could still join in via the chat.

Is anyone else interested in something like that? Do you have other ideas? I'm open to any and every suggestion. I just think it's important to do something to mark this milestone.

The 20th is a Thursday, so perhaps Saturday the 22nd would be easier logistically. Let me know what you think.
