why was he in the game? think. he is mysterious and dark and he adds such an awesome element to the game. He's part of an ancient order of people who kicked a**, his dad kicked butt, and he kicks butt. He's got hereditary butt kicking abilities. He can use a chirugai , he's called demon hunter, he's covered in holsters and straps, he's everyones dream man (Unless you're so much a lara fan you'd rather have a man who'd sit down and cry if you looked at him wrong). And who doesn't love revenge? (You keel my fada) He also has the gift of foresight and he can bust open doors with whooshiness from his hands. I'm sure women love him just for his plain wooshiness . Anyway, without a dude so cool in the game, players would never be able to see an element of sensuality so great. she's coy and flirtatious and frankly I envy her (this is kurtis trent we're talking about, who wouldn't?). The most powerful example of this sensuality and sense of competition is when she encounters him in the louvre and he disarms her *slowly* (yeah kurtis) and then when he runs away she goes after him determinedly (yeah lara).

I think he should be a playable character. That's definitely what I'm hoping. I also hope there is more of a luv thang going on between lara and him- which would really tick off people that hate Kurtis. I just got TR AOD like 2 days ago. I had to mail order it because I couldn't find it in stores. Then I got it, got to Le Serpent Rouge (which took ages beacuse the controls suck) and got screwed up because of a glitch. I saved the game after lara died thinking that it was still like TRL and you would come back at a checkpoint or something (my bad there). Here I wrote over my old save to save her landing on the floor and dying. ARRRGHH! TSo I restarted it. Then I fell through the ground for no reason in the Parisian Ghetto. So I caught up after that incident and now I'm at the Louvre. Here is my opinion on the game so far. I like that it is industrialized instead of tombs, sorry. I like the drama involved when lara interacts with people. I never realized how much of a great negotiatior she was. It made me glow when she made the deal with pierre. So yeah, I like interacting. Another thing is that I fell in love with the song in Le Serpent Rouge. (It's my new jam). Anyway- For a while I hated the game but now I adapted to the strange controls and the way the save game option is. It still makes me mad that in TRA O makes you let go and X makes you pull up. In AOD they screwed with me big time. But any way- the main reason I love the game again is Kurtis Trent. He's got crappy face graphics but- d*** he's a bad***!! Maybe it's not just him. I think that the storyline is great so far. The plot is thickening. I'll probably be dissapointed at the ending but...that happens with a lot of things. But overall- I just love that darkness. Her outfits,the theme with the dark alchemy, the killings, the false accusations of killing someone, being a fugative that steals stuff and breaks into things, all of that. The title got me. I think it's a great game. The best I've ever played actually. Better than TRL and TRA. Sorry for the long rambling reply. I've been wantign to say that and ended up putting it all in one post. shouldn't have done that. but......
