I think Scott made the right decision to pick it up when director Fede Alvarez showed him the script asking him for his input and opinion because it's looking good!

ALIEN: Romulus was originally written to be a direct to HULU production like that awful last Predator movie Prey.

I am so glad they changed their mind and made it into a theatrical film.
