No winner was chosen for 1950, 1953 and 1954. 1953 was the year the Corvette debuted. I am surprised it wasn't chosen. A year ago we received an envelope in the US mail, labeled sent by Nielsen Rating, on the front it read take a survey of your TV viewing. We threw it away. 6 months ago we received another one. We threw that away too. Last week we came home there was big FEDEX envelope at our front door, again from NIELSEN. We open it and inside a letter said because NIELSEN tried to contact us twice before and we didn't answer. They will be sending a person out to talk to us about our TV viewing and Radio listening. They want to talk to everyone who lives here who is at least 12 years old and watch TV and listen to the Radio. To call a phone # or go online to a website to tell them the best time to send the person out. So I call NIELSEN in NYC and in Maryland, (found the #s by GOOGLE) and told them to remove us. I gave the guy our address, no names. He kept insisting he couldn't do it unless I also gave him our phone #s, email addresses and names of everyone living here who is 12 or older that watches TV and listen to the Radio. I yelled at him you don't need that. On the FEDEX envelope it was addressed to The Household and the address. No names. On the letter inside it it said dear TV viewer and Radio listener, no names. So he said he will put our address in the Do Not Contact list. Then today a few minutes after I came home, there is a guy standing outside our front door knocking. I open the door and ask are you the NIELSEN guy? He said yes. I yelled at him why are you harassing us? After no responses to two envelopes a year ago and 6 months ago, that would be enough message for you to no longer contact us. Then last week with the FEDEX envelope. I called right after that and told you guys in NY and Maryland not to contact us again and yet here you are. I know all my neighbors and I spoke with them and None of them have received anything from NIELSEN in the last year. Only us? WHY? I also noticed he already put a door hanger on the door knob and taped a business card to the door. I took those and threw them at him. Then I took the big FEDEX envelope from last week and I threw that at him too. I told him take that sht with you and don't ever come back This is fuking harassment on your part and on NIELSEN. He wants to tell me HE CANNOT TAKE THE FEDEX envelope because he is not a UNITED STATES POSTAL CARRIER and by taking that FEDEX envelope back, he will be breaking FEDERAL POSTAL LAW regarding ILLEGAL HANDLING OF FEDERAL MAIL. I told him BS! FEDEX is NOT FEDERAL POSTAL MAIL. FEDEX is a PRIVATE COMPANY. Don't Tell me the law when you don't know the law. He took it back and left. Kept telling me no one told him we were on the do not contact list. Then wants to give me a speech of how he is only doing his job and trying to feed his family. That is not our problem, you are harassing us! After he left I came in and I called NIELSEN in NY and Maryland again and yelled at them again. They look it up on the computer and said yes the guy last week did put our address in the do not contact list. I said he did? So why is this guy here? I told them the next time a NIELSEN person shows up, I will have them arrested for trespassing and harassment. The next time I receive any mail in the United States Postal Mail, I will file charges against NIELSEN with the Postal Investigators and Post Master. I will also call the U.S. Government FTC and file an official complaint I also told them it's 2026, most everyone has a smart TV or a satellite radio or something like that. You should know when a TV is turned on, what station is it on, what program is being played, how long that program was viewed in minutes and seconds before the viewer change the channel or turn the TV off. Even Netflix know when you try to use the wrong TV to sign into Netflix, they will tell you sorry, you are not using your TV associated with your Netflix account to sign in. Yet NIELSEN wants to do it the old way and use paper survey and people. Just like the electric company no longer send people out to read electric meters each month to see how much electricity you consumed in the previous 30 days billing period. Everything is done by remote meters and computers. I told them get with the 21st century and stop harassing people.

I've seen those SERVICE CHARGE range from as low as 2% to as high as 25%.
