Sometimes in mid 2000's , several players got together and cracked the code and released mods to it.

We had new missions to play and we could do more than what the factory games could do:

fly different choppers, drive tanks and jeeps and trucks, man new weapons like grenade launchers and AA guns.

you could play online multiplayer as many as 32 players in one session against the computer AI controlled bad guys.

Every Friday and Saturday a guy would host a session for 3 hours and I would go in and play.

We ended up seeing the same people and learn their names, their family, their jobs. Like one big family.

Some of those players even know about my Angels being born and growing up

Then in 2016 Novalogic was acquired by THQ Nordig and about end of 2019, one Friday night we went online to play and the game wouldn't connect anymore.

First the screen showed an error message saying maintenance and a couple of months later, it didn't even show that anymore.

No warning. 

Countless emails by me and dozens of people to THQ Nordiq went answered
