Hello all, I am trying to help out my husband. He is playing TR Legend and he seems to be stuck. It is at the level in Japan. Lara is running and comes to a rope. Once she climbs the rope, there are some bars to climb across. My husbands always dies at this level. He can't seem to get past this stage. Can anyone help???

i think this is cuz the bars are weak and will collapse if u swing on them for mor then twice, try jumping on the first swing maybe tht will work

BREAK-AWAY POLE & HORIZONTAL BARS: Jump to grab the vertical pole. As she climbs, the guys will warn Lara that the bars won't hold. Very true. Timing is crucial here, but nothing starts to break until Lara reaches the top of the vertical pole. So, first jump to grab the pole, turn so the building is on Lara's right and then position the camera behind her. (Using the HUD key here is only somewhat effective, since the camera tends to drift a bit. So use the mouse or right stick to move the camera directly behind her. Then make sure her right shoulder is pointing squarely toward the building.) That way when she reaches the top, she'll be in position for a straightforward series of jumps.

When Lara is positioned precisely, climb to the top of the vertical pole. Quickly move the camera behind Lara and immediately jump forward to grab the first in the series of horizontal bars before the pole breaks away from the wall. Quickly swing, jump and grab across all 4 horizontal bars before they detach. To do this, it may help to hold the Forward key (or press the left stick forward) throughout. Then Lara will begin to swing around the bar as soon as she grabs it. On the downswing, press Jump to leap off and grab the next bar. (You want her to jump the first time around or the bar will break off.) Keep holding Forward as she swings around. Press Jump on the downswing and she'll jump and grab again. Repeat for the remaining bars. After jumping from the fourth bar, Lara lands on a safe ledge..
