I went to Gamestop today to get TR: Anniversary and they said the game was being shipped today, I was also told it would be at their stores tomorrow. So I put in a $5 reserve deposit so I would be able to get it tomorrow, they got my cell phone number so they will call me.

What gets me is if the game was to be released today, why wasn't shipped on monday instead

why was it shipped? or were you just saying shipped. Cause from Uk to US will take at least five days by ship then it has to be distributed all around the US why not fly them there thats eight hours Approx. and less fuel usage

They have independant areas in each country which distrubute the game onto their format, e.g PAL for England. So the game is already in the USA, and was when the UK version was released. It's the stores fault, they obviously didn't order enough, or in time and therefore do not have enough to put on the shelves or any at all. I know it was released today because a friend of mine who lives in Florida told me they had it today who got it from Electronics Boutique.

Just seems like someone's lost connection somewhere along the line!

I wonder why that is then? Do you think distrubutors had to send out more copies to meet demands of pre-orders or something? Ah well guys, hope all goes well tomorrow and you get your game!!

The game is on my store shelves as of 8 am this morning and we got them in last week!!

That always happens! It's frustrating sometimes.

All the Gamestops in my area are sold out. Which stinks, because there's 4 w/in 20 min. and about 8 w/in a 1/2 hr-45 min. away. I knew I should have preordered...I was even in there last week. *Kicks self*

It's not just gamestop. I went to 5 different stores (Gamestop,Best Buy,Circuit City,Walmart,Sam's Club) yesterday morning looking for it. Nobody had it or knew much about it. This is not the first time something like this happened around here with something I wanted. I was holding out to get it at Best Buy since I still have a gift certificate that I got for Christmas to redeem there. Only prob is their computer doesn't even show them getting the pc version,just the PS2.

They're all in the same city 35 miles away...I just don't feel like driving there cause I'm lazy...LOLz but I'll be going there Sunday and get it then...

On Best Buy's website they say Anniversary is on sale for $19.99...w000t!!!! I'm going to get it tonight on PC hopefully...

Best Buy only has PS2 shown for release... next week.

Walmart has the pc listed at the website but none are in any of the stores.

Target doesn't even have it listed at their site.

Circuit City has it at the site but doesn't mean it will be at the store.

Gamestop has it listed but there is only a small rack for pc games. The store is mainly devoted to console games.

I guess i'll try gamestop and/or Circuit City,maybe i'll get lucky.

I got it!!! Gamestop has the PS2 version finally!! The guy was like, 'would you like anything else?' Lol, like I'd buy anything else today.

I finally got it!!! I went to a few stores yesterday as well as different ones too. The gamestop at the mall had it,and I took it.
