Anyone else notice that

during the interactive cut-scene introducing the T-Rex, it mimics very closely the battle between the T-Rex and the velociraptors at the end of Jurassic Park? Where the T-Rex rips the 'raptor clinging to it and hurls it away. In the movie the 'raptor flew into a skeleton (I think it was a T-Rex one, at that), while in the game the 'raptor got flung into the wall. Still, as similar as the moves were (and I've seen the movie many, many times, so I'm sure the moves were similar), it had to be intentional.

I thought that was kind of cool, myself. Nice little homage.

Yeah, it was.

I think it was intentional. I don't remember if something along those lines was in the original game, but at the time of Tomb Raider's original release, the movie was all the rave.

the film was the perfect inspiration for CD the moves of the T rex were great so CD prob just copied them. half the work done and less research

Hmm. That could be, too, I suppose. I like to rather think of it as an homage rather than a rip-off, but I suppose that line is somewhat blurry.
