I'm loving this game on the PSP, but I find by doing an extensive Google that it has had bad reviews and few people like it.

It's a Core game, has similar controls to Tombraider Games and has short but difficult challenges which is perfect for a handheld.

Is anyone else playing this, enjoying it?

I haven't played it, but I'd like to see what it's like.

On PlanetLara there were a few people who played it and said it was good.

From what I've heard, it uses the engine that Core planned to use for Tomb Raider Anniversary Edition, but since that was canceled they just used the engine for Free Running, which is why you may notice some very similar Lara like moves.

One criticism from reviews seems to be that there's no story, which I find strange. After all racing games and skateboarding games and most xtreme sports games don't have stories.

Another criticism is that you have to be very precise with the controls, but again that's an odd criticism because of course that's the skill.

In fact many of the criticisms seem to be based on people who didn't play the game very much and maybe only tried a couple of levels. As it goes on the levels get more difficult and bigger.

There are lots of different challenges, such as races, or timed runs. There are challenges where you mustn't touch the floor, and flow challenges where you string together tricks to get scores.

I find it totally addictive and recommend it for the PSP. I know its on PS2 but I don't know how it plays. I'm going to buy it on that console because I find handheld consoles give me eye strain after a while.

Just got this game on PS2 and it plays very well surprisingly. Obviously I'm familiar with the controls from the PSP but I think it's actually easier on PS2.
