I just got back into the swing of things when it comes to my PS2, Tomb Raider: Legend game. After an hour of being REALLY into it, I've reached this interactive scene I just can't get passed! I don't know why.

It's the scene in the second level, Peru, and she's walking along these blocks/walk way that all of a sudden collapse. CLEARLY, I can see the button with the letter L in the middle of it pop up. but Lara isn't doing anything and I continue to die. It seems like there are two buttons, one on top of the other, but I really just don't know. I want to go on with my game, but I can't seem to get passed this! I feel kinda...dumb...

Someone help, please!

For the interactive cut-scenes, you need to press a specific sequence of controls when the icons appear on the screen. According to Stella's walkthrough, the combination for this one is:

PS2: Left stick up, X, Triangle

Make sure you're not hitting the controls too late. Also make sure you don't hit the next button in the sequence too early.

You can mash any of the face buttons (triangle, square, X, circle) as early as you want. Doesn't matter one whit. Now, any stick movement, on the other hand, can't be done until the icon appears on-screen. What I've done before is scan Stella's guide for the relevant level until I get to any interactive cut-scenes, and I memorize the sequence. Then I just wail away on face buttons when it comes up.
