Is the disc scratched or dirty or covered with fingerprints?

When was the last time you clean the Laser Lens on your CD Rom Drive?

I can play all of the other TR's, I did clean the disc but there is no change, I do no see any scratches.

Here's the solution that solved the same sound-looping problem for me, but be aware that it'll cause any saves you've already made not to work and you'll have to re-start the game.

Download this XP / Vista multipatcher, and extract the patch programme. Install only the patch for TR3 (unless you have other TR games you would like to patch as well, although if you do you should make sure that the patched version will be compatible with any saves you already have). Make sure that your TR3 CD is in your disc drive when you run the programme because the patch will copy the audio files on it over to your hard drive. This will allow the game to read the audio files directly from the hard drive instead of from the CD and should stop the sound from looping.

Thanks it worked. Its great to hear the whole tune when I start the game and not just the first few notes.
