Who has a copy of TR Underworld already (regardless of Platform or PC)?!?

I have! Got mine yesterday morning

Downloading it on my labtop now my dad has had his on his computer since last night.

Up until tr5 I used to sit and watch him install and play them game,

"Ooo dad theres a gadgey" (Bad Person)

From then on I played on my own.

Cant wait to pthis game but I think NOTHING will ever replace TR6 what a blast that game was.

Why not buy just the x-box version and jump straight to the good part?

(unless you don't have a x.box now but you will soon... and in that case, you can ignore me! )

lol yeah I dont have one and I dont plan to get one the more I think about it the more i realise its dying and thats why the prices fell. + they're loud and made by Microsoft

Fusion, I know it sounds strange for a next-gen game to be on a last-gen console. I just think that the graphics won't be as good, as the next-gen version is. I highly doubt (hopefully not) they will 'cut' anything out. Buzz Monkey developed the PS2 version of Anniversary, and it looked good to me!

Has anyone played God Of War? That's a PS2 game that can EASILY be passed as a next-gen! lol

I would like to think it'll be '2' months before we get the PS2 version. But sadly, if it's not gonna to be released until the END of Jan -- then that would mean we won't get it until EARLY February. It just SEEMS so far away. lol Ugh.

I went to a local store today but they were out of it so I'll check back sometime this week.No,even my Walmart doesn't have it in. When I do get it it will be PC.

When I said the Walmart doesn't have it in I meant that I haven't even seen 1 copy yet. I had been checking everyday the past few days and didn't see anything. The same thing happened when Anniversary came out. The store didn't get any till almost a month later.

I just checked Walmarts site and they have it listed as "Not sold in stores" which means the only way to get it from them is online.That will more than likely hurt sales for the game.

In the quote in my post I said I went to a local store...that was Gamestop. They were out and I'll be going back this week. It is just natural for me to check Walmart since I work there and can get a discount.Plus it's convenient too.

I failed to preorder it...

I failed to get it the day it came out...

but then, alas, on that fateful payday, I bought it from Gamestop, and got a nice little job application to go with it.

Yeah, I hate my job now.

Anyways, I think it's my favorite Tomb Raider EVER so far. I mean, it's great, the huge open areas free to explore, the fluid movements, the way Lara reacts to the environment around her! It's everything I hoped and more! Bloody brilliant, I must say. It's definitely changed the video gaming experience for me. I even like it better than Uncharted: Drake's Fortune!

I obtained my copy on Friday, 11-22-2008, at 5:00 PM Central USA Standard. I preordered and paid for it in full the moment word got out.

And after I finished it for 2 days, but that's because it was slow in some moments

I just got it yesterday!!! I was supposed to get TRU for PS2 as a belated Christmas present when it's released, but we got a PS3 as a present for the whole family for Christmas. My husband gave me TRU for PS3! As soon as I'm off work today, I'm going to start it.
