Peyton List as Young Lara Croft in Tomb Raider Reboot Movie?!?

Another round of rumours surrounding the Tomb Raider 3 movie has come online.
This time the rumour comes from the Tomb Raider Forums who tells a mole is claiming that actress Peyton List (Smallville, "Ghost Whisperer, CSI) has been selected to play Lara Croft.

On the Director side the name Alfonso Cuarón (Children of Men - 2006) has been dropped.

However, the news poster has no credible source so this should be considered a 'dubious rumour'.

Actress Peyton List surely has the looks, as the new movie will follow a young Lara Croft on her first expedition and examine her origins.

The Tomb Raider 3 movie project in currently in Development at Lin Pictures, a Hollywood production company by Dan Lin.

Peyton List (born August 8, 1986 in Baltimore, Maryland) is an American actress.

She attended Roland Park Country School in her hometown of Baltimore, Maryland. She landed the role of Lucy Montgomery on the soap opera As the World Turns in 2001. Her soap character's popular pairing with older bad boy Dusty Donovan (Grayson McCouch) garnered many fans and a lot of press for the young actress. List left the soap in 2005.

Recently, List starred in the movie The Greatest Game Ever Played, as Shia LaBeouf's character's love interest. She also had a guest appearance on Smallville as Lois Lane's little sister.

She also has played Tally Reida on NBC's, Windfall and Solaris, a 15 year old model, in the CW's One Tree Hill.
