I have also been trying to download TR Level editor levels for awhile now.

I have WinRAR and have downloded TRLE but all I get is info, not the actuall thing.

Do you know someone who can help?

first you need the TR Custom Level Editor installed on your computer, it came with Tomb Raider Chronicles;

You say you downloaded TRLE but you only got information not the actual thing... where did you download it from and how big was the file?

and I downloded the lite version.

I just went and downloaded the Lite version to test it. The files that are in the archive are what you need, you can extract them with WinRAR or by double-clicking on the file. I think that it should preferably go into C:\Program files\Core Design though.

I'm not entirely certain how to get custom levels to work with it because I've never actually done that before, but I can try find out how to if you need more help.

I have downloaded TRLE to my desktop but I need help downloading custom levels that have been made.

Extract the TRLE into C:/Program Files/Core Design. I'm not sure exactly how much it matters that the level editor is located in this particular folder, but it's better to be safe.

When I use the TRLE Lite version, it crashes on me no matter what I do. I've installed the full version that I got on a bonus disc with TR:Chronicles and that works fine. Try running tomb4.exe (located in the level editor folder). If it tells you it has encountered an error and needs to close you might need to download the full version instead.

When you download levels they should have a readme file telling you what to do so you can play them. Once you have got the level editor programme working, we'll see if we can get some custom levels working for you.
