What happened between the end of TR4 and the beginning of AOD? Finally, the truth revealed

"Good to see you again Werner," said Lara, relieved.

"I couldn't leave you!" replied Von Croy, as he reached to grab her hand.

Suddenly with a crash, the temple door collapsed. Von Croy knew there was little hope that he'd ever see Lara again...

Lara wondered wearily inside what was left of the Tomb. Days passed.. or so it seemed. Perhaps it was hours, perhaps it was a week. How does one count the days when sealed in the dark?

Suddenly, she felt her heart skip. Was that light in the distance? It couldn't be.. A pale glow emitted from a wall far away.

She carefully wondered towards the small light she had seen. It became clearer as she got closer. The light was a dim green, and on it was a mysterious ancient symbol...

"Thank goodness for tourism," thought Lara. The Egyptian authorities had been forced to install fire escapes into all the ancient Tombs. She continued down the passageway and emerged into the sunlight. She rubbed her eyes and wearily ordered a hotdog and a 'I BEAT SET' T-shirt from a nearby souvenir shop, before hailing a cab to begin the long journey home.

Fim.

Bwahaha, very good I like it! Some good logic there.

...not to mention that it was the Great Pyramid that Lara got trapped in, which happens to be right on the outskirts of Cairo, the biggest city in Africa.

So she could've just waited until all the Egyptian authorities arrived, concerned that their biggest tourist attraction had just partly collapsed...

:lol: I have to admit Shresh, I'd actualy forgotten that it was in the Great Pyramid where the ending took place, that makes the story even more plausible - and the TR Plot more daft!! Funny.. I'd never thought about it until this evening!

lol, I'd never thought about it either, until I went looking for the pyramid complex in Google Earth and realised that it's actually right outside an absolutely massive city.

So yeah... dunno why it took so long to find her, or why she was presumed dead. Guess Werner really did just take off without telling anyone what happened... Even though all he had to do was stop off at the nearest pay phone to give the rescue services a call...

Well on ebay they have a book that exlplains what happened btw TR4 and AOD. Id probobly buy it

Good start Raek...I didn't realize that there is so much development around the Pyramids...

Purple is right! I have read the book and found it quite interesting. Actually i thought it was very good. Parts made my eyes water because the thoughts of the discriptions sounded very graphic. Anyways to all thoughs whom dont know if they want to read it i say... READ it!
